They love their students and have really great teachers without a turnover. Also doesn't push slot of fundraising on parents and students!

I think Cedarwood is an excellent school. We love the principal and the staff. The teachers are absolutely top notch. And whenever there is a concern, you can be sure that your opinion is heard and matters. My daughter is in 3rd grade and has attended since kindergarten. Every year I have been so pleased with each of her teachers and could not be happier. They really take the time to care about your child. Cedarwood is a family. They care about each child, parent, and family. They take pride in their children, the campus, and the quality of the school. I would highly recommend this school. It really is top notch.

I have four children who were all at Cedarwood this past year (one is just going to Clark Intermediate). We transfered to Cedarwood from a private school when we moved here 4 years ago. I cannot say enough great things about this school! The staff are wonderful, caring people. Most of the teachers have been there since the school opened, which says a lot about the leadership of the school. The amount of activities available to kids is unbelievable for an elementary school. We have never encountered any kind of problem with favortism due to income (we are a middle income family). Cedarwood is on the far east side of town so all the 'country' kids get bussed in to our school. I think there is a great mix of students from diverse backgrounds. We are blessed to be part of this great school!

Cedarwood is a good school, however some of the staff and teachers significantly cater to families with a higher income. It is noticeable throughout the school and as children get older it is a concept I do not want them to learn. The point of school is to educate the children and mold them into becoming respectable children and learning that no one is better than anyone.

From the principal on down we have had an excellent time at Cedarwood. I have 3 children that attended this school, 2 still there. They get advanced kids to help those that need a little help and there are math and reading after school programs for thoses who need them. The kids are highly involved in a character counts program that teaches them manners and how to be a good citizen. The music department is very encouraging and patient with the kids. The sports programs are great also. Finally, don't be late to an awards assembly or you will be standing. Alot of parent participation.

This is an awesome school. My daughter has attended since kindergarten--she is now in 4th grade. I also have a son who is now in kindergarten there. We love all the teachers and have truly never had a problem that wasn't easily resolved. The school community is also wonderful with parents who are fully commited to helping their childen suceed in a well-rounded environment. This school has the feel of a country school even though it is in a rapidly developing area. My daughter has been challenged in the academic and sports arena and it has resulted in her having a very high self-image. I highly recommend this school to any parent.
