Good education quality and friendly staff. Small classes provide great student teacher interaction.

Colusa High School may not be known for it's great academics but it is the community-like feel of the campus that is its strong point. All students attend sporting events. All students are involved in clubs. One of the best aspects of CHS is the Environmental Sciences Academy. Students are given the option to join the academy at the end of their freshman year. The academy consists of more difficult classes, numerous projects, and community service. However, being in the academy also qualifies you for amazing trips around California, bonds with other students and academy teachers, and great experiences and memories.
