Ygnacio Valley Christian School

My daughter has attened YVCS from 1st-8th grade and I could not have found a better school to send her to. She has tested college level in english and math but more importantly she is a child with hign moral and spiritual standards. Even through a difficult financial year the school our experience was positive. I highly recommend this school.

I am very pleased with this school. My daughter has attended K-7. The teachers are all very dedicated to the success of each student. All the teaching staff ,that we have had so far, are very loving and caring to each student. The entire school staff are a wonderful blessing to my daughter and myself. The families that are at the school are very friendly and comforting. My daughter has been very happy at YVCS. The love of the Lord is very present at this school.

The words I would use to describe YVCS are: Quality, excellence, respectful & loving. My kids have the upmost respect for the teachers, principal and other staff at YVCS. I have not heard a negative word about the school from them. In fact after moving them to this school, I occasionally still here the words, thank you, mom for moving me to this school.

Education is Christ-centered. Teachers are great in building up the children academically and spiritually. My son's class is divided into different groups with activities that tailor to the individuals' academic level. They have a strong music program too. The school provides a great Christian environment for children to grow up.

Our children could not be attending a better school. The teachers are wonderful and truly care for their students. We have seen our children learn so much academically and spiritually. This school is big on scripture memorization and this has been a real blessing for our children. Their is a family feel and we love that. Our new principal is wonderful too. The music program is amazing!

As a parent at YVCS, I would say that the academics and music program are very good, but parental involvement should be mandatory. As a small school, everyone needs to help keep it running well.

Both my sons attend YVCS, one in 6th grade and one in 4th. YVCS is a Christ-centered school where the children learn Biblical values and principles. The teachers are highly skilled, Godly men and women, and the principal is a wonderful, firm leader who loves the children and the children love him. My sons have blossomed both socially, spiritually and academically at YVCS. My husband and I consider the school and its faculty to be blessings from God. The school has a wonderful music program, and parents are encouraged to be highly involved in every aspect of their children's education. My husband and I have developed friendships with the boys' teachers and there's a real feeling of 'family' at YVCS. We love it!

This is an amazing school. The academics are suberb and spiritual/character development curriculum are suberb. Their fine arts program is among the finest in the county. Small, intimate environment and well-qualified, outstanding staff.
