This is one of the best schools I have had the pleasure of hacing my children attend. Everybody is nice including the staff and not to mention the principal! The teachers are into their children's academic skills and actually care and follow up with them.

This school by far has the best technology in the district but at the expense of teacher accountability, the arts and physical education. The principal has a wonderful personality (the reason for the one star) but it takes more. She does not teach your child and the staff under her leadership does not perform well. 2010 school year had an interim principal that attack the bullying problem at the school, encouraging the kids to get active, and the staff to perform exceptionally. Unfortunately, he will not be returning and the school falls back into the hands of the original principal. In the last three years we have attended the school ratings have dropped. The reason it is still in the higher rankings is probably due to the technology that is not offered anywhere else in the K-6 district. This school has a technical advantage that spends very little time teaching a subject (instructions, methods, etc) and spends majority of the day and school year teaching to the state test - review the scores and see that this does not work.

I have to be honest. Although high tech. Moving my daughter out of Todd was the best move I made for her. The principal is great we loved her we won't deny that. But as for everything else I wasn't impressed. The amount of homework the kids recieve is way to much, the amount of time teaching a subject to the kids in the classroom was way to little and with exception of a few teachers and staff members ,I found the staff to be rather rude and at times insulting. The list could go on but I'll leave it at that. I give it two stars for the upkeep of the school and the principal other than that sorry Todd you lost my vote for school of the year.

The teachers here are SUPER. The only bad thing to say is the school needs more structural art and physical education. Also, there is hard any after school activities or clubs.

This is an outstanding school! The principal is a wonderful lady. She loves her job and it shows. She can ALWAYS be seen on campus speaking to parents and students. The teacher's are caring and have the best interest of my children in mind. The ladies in the office are nice and helpful. The cafeteria personnel are delightful. They even know my children by name and what they like to eat! The school is clean and well kept. The school spirit is very high. The office is decorated with a "rainforest" theme, the mascot is a toucan and the school bell is the calling of a toucan. My children love their school and I love the quality of education they are receiving. All teachers encourage the children through positivity. When one of my kids does a stellar job, he has been brought to the office and the principal personally has called me to commend him! The school is the pillar of our neighborhood!

My Daughter is in Kindergarten at this school and loves it. She came from a prestigious Private school in Orange county and we were really afraid of having her join the public school system. We were pleasantly surprised by the dedicated principal and excellent teachers at this school. She now looks forward to attending school. The only drawback is that the children are at school for only 4 hours, which does not seem adequate. This is a great school.

Both my kids attend this wonderful school, the principal is awesome and the teachers are top notch. We are moving out of the area, but I will commute so my kids can continue at Todd..

I've had two kids at Todd and can say that it is an excellent school. High quality teachers and the Principal just loves what she does, always involved and such a cheerful /happy person.
