I can't say enough good things about this school. Overall, it's a great school that has a caring and competent staff, teachers, Principal (Mrs. Susan Jones) and Vice Principal (Mrs. Kathryn Jones). The teachers here are experienced, knowledgeable and quite determined to make sure that the students are able to reach their highest potential in so many different levels. They have awesome and very dedicated teachers(i.e., Mrs. Schmits, Mr. Magnuson who recently retired, Mrs. Ajemian, Mrs. Colson, Mrs. Sommers, etc.) It has a very strong community support which only makes this school better for our children. It is a "California Distinguished School" and an "Academic Excellence School" in Riverside County. It has a very positive environment which is why the children and parents love this school. But at the same time, "discipline" is a priority in this school which makes it an effective facility for learning and growing. We are so fortunate for having this excellent school right here in our neighborhood.
Lusenio K-8 - We have 3 kids in grade 6 and cannot thank the 6th grade Team enough for the wonderful job they have done. When the kids say they "enjoy going to school" that says it all. This Team has done something to inspire these kids that we have not seen before. It's just not the improvement in grades, its the growth in their confidence, self esteem, responsibility and respect. These teachers truly care about their students and it shows. Sommers / Webb / Palm - Team 6 Principal Jones also deserves credit for putting this Team together and keeping everyone inline especially keeping the kids safe during construction. Keep up the Greatschools work.
Its been 5 months into the new 6th grade addition to the school and my child is in 6th grade. The hardest decision was whether to leave her at Luiseno or have her attend Terra Cotta. There is definitely less homework at Luiseno than Terra Cotta. The environment in Luiseno is definitely safer for the boys, and the girls are not treated like date bait (like they are in Terra Cotta from the older grade boys).
Luiseno's faculty and staff have been nothing less than 'extraordinary' in the enrichment of my children's education and life learning skills. Their enthusiasm and dedication to the children, their education and well being is unlike any other!
A great place to grow. My family has learned and grown at this school. Wonderful teachers, and great friends who have like family.
I love that there is a small community feel to the school.
The teachers and staff set high academic standards and work hard to give their students the tools they need to reach these goals. There is a strong sense of community and parental involvement which enrich the learning process.
The teachers and Principal care about the students. Parents are very involved in the school. My daughter loves it!
It doesn't get any better than this! :-)
Great teachers! The staff works with parents to ensure our kids receive the maximum benefit from the curriculum.
