I am a student right now in this amazing school. All the teachers help students improve there strategy except Mr.Corona. He is very strict. I think he is the worst teacher in this school. So far everything is good.

Elizabeth Learning Center is a wonderful school if you know what you're here to do. As a very small school it gives you a family type of feel with all your peers, teachers, parents, and staff on campus. It is almost impossible to not have any friends in this school because eventually you will end up encountering your entire class, so everyone is known at our school or at least knows who you are. Academically our school is very good if you are focused and you strive to achieve. If you want to be successful and are determined to be someone, this school is the place to be. The teachers here are always polite and they want you to come talk to them. They are here for the sole purpose to enlighten the students. Yes all this seems too good to be true but it does exist but only if you make it happen. Here you choose weather you want to be smart or stupid. This school is very unique and is extremely different from any other school.

Teachers at ELC care about the students and try to work with students on an individual basis. ELC is part of the Cudahy community. The school gives students a safe learning environment.

I think this school is a great school because of it's size. It's very small and the teachers know their students very well.

I pushed my kids to be on top of all their academics goals and so they did. But on my ten years of exprience with Elizabeth I have experience of the unprofessional teachers. Teachers careless about students and parents concerns, teachers do not want to work together with parents for the well been of our kids they avoid parents when a parents ask a teacher for their academic progress. Administrators they never have an answer for a parent even if the question is coment sence. We have a knew principal, I see she is trying very hard to improve our school. I am so happy about the change in bringing a very good principal to our school. There is alot of conflict with ELC teachers, but what it keeps me here at ELC is the high school students. They are very unique from others. Teachers and administrators, please , just due your

I think this school is great. My daughter attends this school and she's on her way to succeed in life. Teachers and administrator's pay attention to their students and make sure students are satisfied awith the education they are receiving. Thanks to this school my daughter has already been accepted to many great universities and has received various scholarships. Its just a great school!!!!

ELC is a great school. It might not be the best but one thing is for sure, it's students do get enough motivation and education to succeed. Some people have claimed this as not true but it is. Some students from this school have gotten accepted to Harvard. i've had a positive experience as a present day student

i think this school is bad because some teachers don't care if some students are failing and they criticize you if you make a mistake

I was a student at this school and while I was attending it I thought it was a great school. It had understanding teachers and amazing classes. It not only gave me many opportunities to excel in my classes but it gave me roots to succeed in the future. Their academic programs are great. The only thing was that their budget wasn't that great. We had few field trips and some of the classes were too full. But we made due.

I'm an alumni currently enrolled in a UC. My experience at ELC was awesome. The teachers are friendly and passionate about their work. What I learned I've taken with me and its enabled me to succeed in college.

I am a former student of ELC. I have had the worst possible experience attending this school. Their health and technology academies do generally assist students in determining a career, but overall I would not recommend this school. Constant violence and a great lack of motivation from teachers and staff make it impossible for most of these students to succeed. I believe most students are given false hope and are deprived of resourceful information for future decisions. I think the administration takes advantage of the ignorance of most students and parents and refuses to 'waste their time' preparing these kids for an opportunity to attend college. They are underestimating the potential of these students and take pity on the lives they lead. Hence, this school will never provide their students with they challenges they desperately need.

What I think about this school is that its a great school their academic programs are great. I am a former student at elizabeth. Im in the tech academy. Iam a junior and so far I have learn lots of things in he tech academy. The school is great and the sports are great. The school has really help me choose what I want to study when I get out of highschool. It has also help my sister a former student at this school. She is a senior and she is in the health academy she really likes it alot and after graduation shes going to the to nursring school because she learn about that in the health academy and she liked it. This school has helped us both choose our carrier even dough sometimes it has its ups and downs this school still agreat school and I think its great.

Their Academic Programs are fascinating. Their technology/health academies really give the children an idea for what they want to do. There is plenty of teacher involvement, but I would not say the same for parent involvement. This school has great sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, but the only thing its missing is a football team. ELC has field goal posts on their track, but they dont play football. Thats wierd, but overall its a magnificent school

As a former student here, you get no respect at all. An awful experience here, tried to make some friends but again I say the students here are awful with their peers and teachers.

The quality of education and the student safety at this school has positive feedback. Of all the middle schools it has the less to zero reports of student fights.

i attend elizabeth learning center and my opinion is not one of the greatest but not the worst.the schools lunch is sort of dull, the gym could use some improvement it lacks in the fun factor but the only gym teaher that is good at it is ms.xitco.its nice that its a small school because everyone knows you and the dean is easy going but strict ,mr.lous its nice he gets to know us.The teahers well at least the high school ones are not the best but there extremly googd at what they do.am in a junior and so far it doesnt feel like a high school its too nice which is a good thing for parents but not for students.I wouldnt complain if they let us go wherever on campus we want and all the nonsense about the store at school and trying to make it heathly is sort of dumb.

I really dont like this school because they know the kids there need extra help in math and reading and its hard to get that help when the teachers dont want to give it when they have summer school or saturday classes. To me this school stinks!!!!!!! They should provide the help where it is needed...

Profile Completeness

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
