Happy Days is good for infants but a poor environment for toddlers and older. We had our kids at Happy Days for 4 years. It was a very positive place until 2010 when management fell apart. The school administrators treat the teachers very poorly. The teachers had no control over their schedule. The teachers would be told where to go or even not bother to come to work with just 1 day notice, depending on the number of kids in the school. As the result, the teacher turn over is very high. It is not unusual to have new teachers in a room every few days or weeks. The oral and written language skill of many of the teachers is marginal. The biggest problem with this school is management. Because they treat the teachers so poorly, they are not able to recruit and retain good teachers.

The school has some kind teachers in the infant rooms who have cared for both of our kids. But the management was in a chaos and treating parents with different standards. We found it odd that the directors asked us not to listen to other parents' comments and not to communicate with the teachers directly in regards to our kids daily behaviors. Hopefully they will read this review, too.

My kid went to Happy Days CDC, cupertino since he was 18 months. He thoroughly enjoyed his school. The teachers are awesome, very loving and very approachable. He still misses Happy days very much. We are very happy that we decided to go with Happy days during his early years. It has really helped him in shaping up his whole personality.
