As a parent who's student attends king, I have not been happy with the way the school has been ran since the change in principal's. I've notice that there is very little staff in the morning before school. The office the is not open untill about 8:00am which in my oppinion leads very little safty for the children, and the parking lot is a mess, although they have made some efforts to change it.

This is a excellent school with great staff dedicated to help our kids. One of my girl graduated last year and the other has 2 more years.The API is above average score. To me the staff is doing their job..

My son has attended King school for two years. I have been so pleased with the staff and principal, Mrs. Lorhman at this school. His past teachers have been great! My son is getting a wonderful education at this school, not to mention the additional partnership with the Orange county symphony and the other programs available at this school! We are proud to be Cougars!

I have two children at King with a third following soon. When my oldest was going into Kindergarten, I looked at a transfer to another school in the district. As a long time area resident King had been known for having a lot of transient families due to the area being surrounded by rentals. However once I found out the Principal was Jeaneatte Lohrman and that since her arrival at King a few years prior, the school had seen a great turn around and scores had improved considerably. I am so happy we made the decision to stay at King. From the principal and her caring office staff to all the teachers that are truly dedicted to the children and all the different programs the offer like Chess Club and the musicals, we are proud and happy to be King Cougars!

King is an excellent school with the most caring principal and staff. Excellent music programs, full day kindergarten offerered, more small group instruction than I have ever seen any school offer.

As a former Cougar from the graduating class of 1999 I was able to enjoy from many activites at Clara J. King. From Kindergarten to 6th grade I keep wonderful memories from fellow students, teachers and principals. Dr. Teschke and Mrs. Lohrman have been exceptional in keeping this school well above standards and I applaude them in their efforts.

A good school starts with a great principal. King Elementary's principal, Mrs Lorhman is an outstanding over the top principal. As a parent of two children attending King my children's educational needs are always met and improving, with or with out funding. Mrs Lorhman finds a way, she get us involved with our children school. Thank you for that Mrs. Lorhman. My children are in great hands at King Elementary in Cypress California.
