We transfered to St. I from another private school in the area because of its commitment to high academic standards. The faculty and staff are constantly looking for ways to improve the curriculum without chasing every fad in the eduacation field or complaining about a 'lack of funds.' They have a tremendous amount of energy which shows in their enthusiasm for their work. Every student is given individual attention. While other schools are cutting programs, St. I still has PE, art, and Spanish as well as other extra curricular activities like cheer and sports. Our family received such a warm welcome that we now attend church at St. I as well. We will have 3 kids in the school come August 2011 and feel that the sacrifices we make are worth every penny for raising well rounded kids.
I have been nothing but impressed with St. I. From day one, they welcomed my daughter and my whole family into their faith-filled community with open arms. The teachers, staff, principal... I couldn't ask for more from them. As a former public school teacher, I was somewhat concerned that limited funding would inhibit the childrens' access to material needed for academic success -- I shouldn't have worried. My daughter is leaps and bounds above where I thought she would be at this point. Her kindergarten class is the highest I've ever seen. In addition, she has 'extras' like harp classes and the buddy program. I am so proud she is going to this school and we couldn't be happier.
We are very pleased with our experience at St. I. The faculty and staff are very approachable and friendly. Our two boys (one is in Kindergarten and the other is in First Grade) love going to school and love their teachers. We appreciate the caring teachers who really go above and beyond to get to know each student's personality and help them do their best. We love the high standards they expect from students and the challenging curriculum. We love the fact that our boys are faith-filled, active Catholics who go to Mass regularly with us and with their school. We got married at St. I and baptized our children there. We look forward to spending the next nine years there until our boys go to Servite. We have no doubt that they will succeed in their chosen professions with the solid foundation they receive at St. I.
I attended St. Irenaeus for elementary and junior high school. The strong curriculum and high academic standards prepared me to take honors classes in high school. I enjoyed the music and arts programs which encouraged my sense of creativity and individuality. The nurturing environment guided the development of my social skills, cultural awareness, and moral standards. For all these reasons and many more, I choose to send my child to St. Irenaeus. I know I am helping her build a strong foundation of skills for her whole life.
I am the parent of 2 graduates of St. Irenaeus Parish School. Both of my children were extremely well prepared for high school. They learned great study and organizational skills, and were more than ready for a college prep high school curriculum. They are now at prestigious universities and are thankful for their faith based K-8 education at St. I.
I am a proud parent of a student who has attended St. Irenaeus for 9 years. She is now in the 8th grade. Her academics and kind heart are just an example of attending a wonderful school like St. I's. She has benefited from caring staff and teachers. A strong academic curriculum and loving environment. I would highly recommend this school. We are grateful that she has such a strong foundation to help her in her future endeavors. Thank you St. Irenaeus School.
Being a parent and alumni, I have been involved with St. Irenaeus for over 30 years. During these years I have seen how many wonderful things this school has to offer. The values and teachings build a strong foundation which supports a child through out their entire life. St. I makes that difference in molding a strong faithful, loving community of children who are ready for their futures!
As a school parent and an alumni, I have been extremely happy with St. Irenaeus School. The faculty and staff are experienced, dedicated and genuinely concerned with the overall well being of every student. The partnership between the parents and teachers make for an enjoyable, safe learning environment with catholic values that you just can't get in public schools.
The strong foundation in both academic and personal growth that I have seen in my nieces and nephew after attending St. I had a big influence in my decision to let my children study there. I now have a fourth grader and a kindergartener studying at St.I. My husband and I strongly believe that the qualified teachers and staff at St. I will help our children to acquire the needed skills and knowledge for their success in their future endeavors.
