This school is amazing. The foundational education my child has received thus far has been nothing short of breath-taking. At just over four years old my son is already on the second level of reading full books aloud by himself, doing addition to the thousands digit, and learning all about the world through his 'world travel' studies. He also attends an after school (in house) science class with experiments that are not only educational but exhilarating! All of the materials are new, clean and very comprehensive. The classroom environment and materials change often (5-6 times a year) so children are never bored of 'working' with the same tools. Learning happens via 'work' that really mimics play - everything from puzzles, to tracing, or water 'work' acts to teach the kids something both theoretical and concrete. Concepts are introduced in stages with physical example/actions. This foundation is most striking for math. Kids love math - not loath it - because they are able to 'see' and not just learn/know the answers. The founders Paloma and Leigh-Ann as well as the teachers are passionate about the children, the Montessori Method and the kids' academic and social success.
