An absolutely wonderful school for kids who do not perform well in conventional settings. A small and very devoted staff. While most kids here are 'under-performers', those that excel are given every opportunity to shine. While they do not have many programs at the school, they do have access to resources at Davis Hig, and are encouraged to learn 'outside the box'. They are pushed to take charge of their academic and career futures. What a difference a school can make. My daughter was barely on track to even finish high school in a neighboring community. At MLK she graduated a year early, with a scholarship, and with her love of learning still intact. Kudos to MLK!
