This school is really great. The teachers are wonderful. The principal knows most of the children by name! She's great with the parents too, you can come to her with any concerns, and she is there to listen. My kids are getting an excellent education!
My children attend this school, and it is quite good, for the most part. I appreciate Mrs. Chapman's efforts to provide a variety of extra-curricular activities for students with a wide variety of interests. I'm not sure if the previous comments refer to a previous principal, but I've also known her to be extremely fair and kind, with regards to discipline. Sure, there are things that could be improved, but it's a public school, and their funds are limited.
My daughter needs GATE instruction and doesnt receive it. The principal is very tough with discipline issues!
I have two daughter that finish Morningside and now I have two other daughter on is in 2nd and my other daughter is in 4th and for me this school is one of the great school, my girls have learn so much and the time that teacher have spend with the students have been great. As for the principal she is great and I like to express my great appreciation for this school, the school spend all there time making sure no student is well left behind, the teacher go all the way to make sure the student are taught the very best, and especially give the student extra help to prepared them for the future. The best school there is.
This school is a great school. It is only 4 years old and the teachers are great with the children. They have great teaching programs and afterschool programs available also. The principle is really nice and easy to talk to if any problems should arise, most of the teachers and principle have an open-door policy so we can walk in to talk to them when ever its necessary.
