if this is the school that told the boy he couldn't have the American Flag on his bike, then you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Disgusted by their attempt to prohibit that young patriot from proudly displaying the American Flag...shame on you....love it or leave it...I suggest you do the latter!!!

Poor Leadership with inability to reach stated goals. More concerned about appearances then the reality of being an educational institution to children. These Administrators are only trying to hold on to their retirement benefits.

Remove the American flag? I rate this school at less than unsatisfactory. Whoever made this decision should be fired immediately if not sooner.

Poor teaching. Terrible academic leadership by administration. How can this be a very good school that never makes its testing goals, that has teachers with multi-subject credentials teaching upper level math, social studies, English, and science. The parents know that this school is in academic trouble as 87 students have left this district in the last 2 years, but still live in the district. This school is making the local private schools rich. Get real, new buildings and new paint do not make a school. A great school has dedicated teachers and administrators that want parent involvement, not cancelling parent teacher conferences as unnecessary and a waste of time.

This school is very good. We are going through budget issues right now, who isn't, but we will get through it. The staff if very helpful and mindful. We just wish it had more to offer in academics and extracurricular. But we are hopeful and very involved with our kids so we can help when we need too. Anyone who leaves the teaching to just teachers shouldn't complain. We need to be there too.

It is a nice school where all of the teacers and staff try to make the year more fun, but also teach at the same time.

I have been going to this school since kindergarten and are now going into eighth grade!. I love all of the teachers especially how they can sit there for so long and not only teach us what we need to know but they make sure we get it. They always help us with anything. I love how we can have our after school help so that we can pass those grades we need for our school on the big test at the end of the year! I know that since i have gone to Denair all of my grades are good and i feel that i can get in to a great college.!. i feel that our p.e teachers do a great job. I have athsma so it is hard, but they always make sure im doing good and they help me with it. I love our school!!!!!

I love this school my son came from another small town school and was not really sure in the beginning how he liked it. He was an exceptional student at his last school, received citizenship and academic excellence awards every year just always had trouble getting going. The principal stands by no child left behind and put him in the after school program where he got the boost he needed with homework and is now receiving recognition once again. The office personal is awesome. The teachers are great. They have a student success team to keep them on track. Academics at this school are just amazing and what you don't think your child will get they surprise you and get it. And they get it right away. The way this school treats there students is great. It is a great place to learn.

I have a 6th grade student. I'm concerned that spelling and vocabulary are taught solely through the use of a 'workbook'. A list of unrelated words are memorized for a Friday test, and then forgotten. (There are more effective methods to teach spelling and vocabulary that are based upon research and the sequential stages of orthographical development.) The school did not meet it's math goal last year.... My child is using an old mathbook, and I'm concerned it is not aligned with state stardards. Therefore, my child may not be prepared for testing this year. What about the William's Act? Concerning science...my child has brought home only two 'worksheets' so far this year relating to science topics. No hands-on... no reports...no research.
