This school is the best! I haven't been to other schools before, but I know this school's staff and teaching skills are excellent.
Descanso Elementary is truly the best school in San Diego County. My children have attended several other schools: Jamacha, Magnolia, Bostonia, and Joan MacQueen Middle. Descanso has an amazing, experienced staff. The leadership at this school is outstanding!
I am a former student of Descanso Elementary and my exerience there was very positive. In such a small school each child recieves individual attention and tutoring. Children are taught the importance of the environment, getting along with others and proper behavior. I had a great deal of trouble with math when I was younger and I recieved tutoring in each case without having to ask for it. This school was a very positive place to start my education.
My daughter was a former student of Descanso Elementary school. The teachers were excellent. Overall my daughter's experience at Descanso Elemtary was excellent.
