our kids from julius Corsini ,are very eager to learn and love to be challenged academically ,the staff is very friendly and make you feel very comfortable to leave your child in this school knowing they will be will educated and safe while your not with them, but there is a downside our school is in serious need of some shade and playground equipment , our kids only have a blacktop to play on walk around and in our city with temperatures of over 100 degrees ,and no shade for them to sit in and take a break is very sad also its the only school that doesn't have a playground to play in at recess.
Our students are great and have made such progress in recent years.
My differently abled granddaughter attends Julius Corsini and the teachers there have been fantastic. I had concerns about her attending public school and I am thrilled to say that I was wrong! At least, I was wrong about her attending this school because it has been proven that they genuinely take an interest in all their students. I hope Julius Corsini wins so they can continue their efforts to provide superior educational opportunities to all their students. They genuinely care about making a difference and have earned and deserve all the support and recognition they can get.
I love this school. They have done all that was needed to make sure my disabled child could learn in a healthy, happy environment.
I love the teachers that my daughter has had the past two years. So far my daughter has loved her school.
The community is really getting involved here. There is a new Parent Teacher Group that is organinzing events for the school and surrounding community, teachers are starting to organize Parent Nights, and I have been volunteering in my daughter's classroom to be more involved and see what is really going on. The bottom line is that you have a lot of people who are committed to making the school and community fun safe places - you can join them in the effort or complain that you aren't part of the process. I like where this school is going and I am proud to be part of their efforts to support our students.
This school has many great teachers that are committed to exemplary instruction. Yes, the PTO is nonexistent. Unfortunately, when the last group of parents left, no one else wanted to pick up the ball and do the work, of which there is a lot. So, ask about it and get involved! The administration is creative, and resourceful, and get many programs, and grants, for the school. The library has added over 4000 books in four years. Plus, a new library is currently being constructed. Things are definitely looking up!
I am involved in my child's education. There is not much parents can do at this school to be involved. If there is a PTO nobody says anything about it. In over a year I haven't gotten a notice about it. This truly is the worst school I've seen and I have kids ranging from 22 to 9 so I've dealt with a lot of schools.
This school has really come a long way! Looking at the school today it is like a new life has come to it. The teachers are really working hard to improve the quality of learning! I love that my children go to a school where the staff is so committed to their learning. I wish that more parents would be involved in their child's education instead of talking about how bad it is. If you aren't involved then you wont see all of the wonderful things going on!
