My son is in the pre-school program and loves it! He started about a year ago. His teachers care about the kids and so far my son is thriving and adores all of the staff. As a parent mentioned before, yes they still use tapes but you are told when you go and visit what their curriculum is and what material they use. No surprises if you ask the right questions and observe the school and classrooms before you sign your child up. There is fundraiser going on to upgrade and get computers.

Staff has no consideration for children's needs nor parents. My child has gotten lice from the school twice from the school and no notice is not posted till several children are infected. Staff knew of prior lice problem but waited a week and half to notify parents after my child and several other were infested with lice. Tuition is not cheap to not notify parents ahead of time. One of the most expensive schools in the area and not worth the outdated practices and teachings. Kids are still being taught on old cassette tapes yes cassette tapes to the learn the lessons of Dr Kirkwood.

My daughter started the Preschool when she was 2 years old. It was hard on mommy to put her baby in a preschool. However, the entire staff made me and my daughter feel like family. They took the time to let me know what she was doing during the day and did not mind the many phone calls I made to check up on her. She is now in Kinder at the Elementary school and that was a tough transitions for her but the teacher there had the same patience with us as the preschool did. She has loved each of her teachers and is learning a lot. My husband and I thank Kirkwood for educating our daughter and taking care of her when we can't. She will be attending Kirkwood thru 3rd grade and I hope we cane find a school as good as Kirkwood for 4th grade.

My son is at the preschool campus. He loves school, and loves his teachers. He has to stop by the office almost every night to say bye to the Director.

This is an excellent school. As a parent and teacher, I want the best education for my child. This is definitely it!! My two year old is excited about learning. She is counting, identifying her shapes, colors and so forth. Overall, this is an exceptional school and I recommend it to everyone!!!

This school has done an excellent job so far. The teachers and staff are not only professional but very friendly and make you feel part of the community. Because the school is so small, our kids are better attended to. The academics are exceptional and the swim program in the summer is an added bonus!

mixed feeling about this school, i must say administration primarily the prinicipal has issues and at times one can feel quite uncomfortable questioning if this school is the best for my child. depending what class and who the teacher is makes the difference.
