Dedicated teaching staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Small close knit community.
I am very comfortable with the education, and quality of life my girls have had, and have now at Durham Schools. They get more than an academic education, they also get a sense of community, volunteerism, and leadership.
The academic programs are outstanding. The teachers and staff show a true commitment to the success of the students.
Strong honors english and biology, adequate spanish, other core subjects lacking. Very little for the 'non honors' students. Not easy for new students to mingle.
