I sent both my girls here and now both my nieces will attend as well. The learning goes beyond just classroom teaching. The entire community is involved with raising and loving these children. I would highly recommend this school above all others!
Simply the best! A school with a small town atmosphere that involved not ony the parents, but the whole community. This small school puts learning first, from the friendly office staff to the teachers.
Crest Elementary is the best elementary school I have found in the El Cajon area. The size of the school is an advantage with a very personal feeling - the principal knows all the kids and parents by name. The PTA is local, and there are tons of events within the school and community. The teachers are absolutely top notch. My children have thrived in this school. I highly recommend Crest over all the other schools in El Cajon!
Both of my children have attended crest elementary and it has been a wonderful experience. The smaller school size makes for a better learning environment not only for academics, but also for social skills. No child is left out at crest. Parents are always invited to attend school functions and encouraged to help in the classrooms. And probably the best feature is the amazing staff of teachers at crest! We are so lucky!
This is a great school in a great community. The teachers are excellent and are very energetic and involved.
A small school that is big on education! The pricipal knows every one of the children at the school in any given year. The teachers and staff are respectful, honorable and genuinly care about the success of the students. The community support is amazing and the faculty welcomes any and all help offered. The school and the grounds are clean and well maintained. I feel that my daughter could not be in a better learning environment!
Excellent school in a small and safe community. I couldn't recommend this school more. They have provided outstanding services to my child, who is enrolled in special education programs and resource programs there. Nice teachers and accessible administration.
Crest is a small community on top of a hill. The elementary school is the 'town hall' of our community. This '2003 California Distinguished School' has great teachers, excellent parent/community involvement, and test scores that are well above national, state and local standards. We're very happy with our little school.
