The school is committed to every aspect of each and every student's well-being and development, and it shows in everything they do (and choose not to do)! I am proud to send my daughter to MFS, and look forward to sending both her and her baby brother there for years to come.

A wonderful community to belong to. Good education, good values, good vibes for all. Children are taught respect, self-discipline, critical thinking, communication skills and compassion in addition to academic subjects. A positive, pro-child environment that encourages self confidence and self mastery. The teachers and kids love each other--rare in this day and age!

Montessori Family School is full of kind, thoughtful, compassionate teachers AND students. The academic level is close to college level even at the 1st-3rd grade level--absolutely amazing! First rate education and socialization.

I had two children that went to MFS through 6th grade. The teachers are fabulous, dedicated and hard working. Their preschool program provides a loving and nurturing environment that any child would thrive in.

My children love learning and playing at MFS. It's much more than a school, it's a home away from home.

Our school not only meets the children's academic needs with an individualized program, but it also meets their emotional and social needs. Our students are confident, capable and incredibly thoughtful and empathetic individuals.

Not only is the school awesome, but it's got this really cool private website so those parents who work a lot and don't get to the school can still see pictures/videos/news from the school, but talk to each other in the discussion forums. Helps drive a sense of tight-knit community.

MFS has an amazing sense of community. They all rally around each other, in times of need and otherwise. The children learn from this.

We were introduced to the school through friends that had sent their two children there. We have sent our two kids there too, and they have thrived. The instructors are incredibly capable and completely engaged with the children both academically and socially. A great place showing care and respect for the developing child.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
