We had to switch into Rescue District this past year after being in Buckeye since my son was in Kindergarten. I was apprehensive about the switch in districts as we really, really loved Buckeye. I have to say, though, we have been blown away by Marina Village Middle School. The principal and the staff have set a tone that is very inclusive and communicative. My son is thriving at Marina and the teachers have challenged him and encouraged him. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience thus far. We're proud to be a part of such an excellent school.
this school is terrible! My daughter used to go there and they bullied her! i do not reccomend this school.
My daughter has had an excellent first year at Marina. Solid teachers and curriculum, good parent involvement, great principal and nice kids.
The school looks terrible, but the teachers are great, you would expect more from such a nice area.
I have concerns for the lack of addressing teachers who have tenure, but have lost passion to teach. Also, the political favortism. Kind Principal.
I have been a social worker for 15 years and find your principal and his administration and teachers to be exemplary in meeting the needs of foster children. Thanks for caring and working so hard!
I am very impressed with the new leadership; the Principal & vice principal. They're a very strong team, and I'm proud to have our children at a school where the leaders take pride in addressing all issues and make their presence known. Whether improvement is warranted, or simply maintaining a steady reputation, the priority is clearly our children's opportunities for success. Careful thought for use of resources the system provides, is evident here.
This school is okay. Its not the best school but it is okay. I think they should go on more field trips.
