My daughter just finished Kindergarten at CMP and I couldn't be happier. She has learned so much and the teachers are so caring.

The staff and teachers are wonderful at this school. It would be nice to get a newer updated campus with a multipurpose room and more space. But the teachers are caring and understanding with the children. It is also wonderful to be welcomed into the classroom to help and be involved in your childrens learning.

My daughter is currently in the 2nd grade and has been there since kindergarten. She has thrived. The individual development that is allowed makes for a perfect combination. She reads at an advanced level but does math at a more average level. She as individual is allowed to excel where she can but stay with the children in her age group. Great system and the teachers are just the best. Kindergarten parents, you are in for a treat with those teachers.

This is my sons first year at CMP Elk Grove and we just love it. After struggling last year in a private school, we are so happy with the decision to move him. The middle school teachers are wonderful and caring and are willing to take the time to help each and every child succeed. The small classrooms make it a wonderful learning environment. I just wish I would have known about this wonderful school a year ago. Thanks CMP!!

There's a reason the wait list is so long at this school. Full-day Kindergarten, Art, Music, PE, Self-Directed Learning and more are our reasons for joining this learning community.

This is my daughter's second year and we love it. She really enjoys going to school and the staff are caring. She is working at her ability level and not being held back and retaught. The learning is meaningful to the children and fosters a love of learning. Great fine arts, pe (an actual pe teacher), extracurrilar activites. Excellent alternative to the traditional environment.

My son is in kindergarten at the California Montessori Project. I couldn't ask for better teachers with high expectations and ALWAYS so positive and encouraging with him. He is excelling with the individualized curriculum and likes attending school!

My child has really enjoyed attending CMP. There is a good mix of Montessori and traditional learning. My child, and most of her classmates, are working a full grade level ahead. The teachers, administration, and families really have a made a wonderful learning environment for the students who attend. I wouldn't send my child anywhere else.

This school is by far the worst choice in the district. The children have to make alot of sacrafices to attend this school, which would be acceptable if you received a Montessori Learning Enviroment. Unfortunatley the principle Mickey Slamkowski does not have a strong belief in Montessori learning. If Montessor is what you are after, keep looking.

Excellent program- teaches children to make choices and how each choice has a concequence. The porgram find out where a child is and lets them learn as much as they want to. Children really love learning and I believe tradition schools limits childrens learning, by sticking to lesson plans--what if the children already know the information---I think that is when behahavior problems develop-- bored kids.
