The school has provided a great learning environment for my daughter. Her first teacher was not working out so they quickly moved her to another who my daughter bonded to very quickly. The second half of her Senior year was wonderful. Filled with milestones met and encouragement from her teacher. She is ready for college and looking forward to a great future!

Personally, the school isn't great. From a parent's point of view it may look like a great place but find another way. These are the kids who couldn't make it in public high school so they flunked out and turned here. They say they don't mess around but the classes aren't that easy as it can grow hard to concentrate with the distraction and some students intimidate the others to make it also a feared enviornment. Not to mention the teachers don't do much towards the goal of getting rid of the problem students and continously warn them over and over which can take even more time out of the class. As for ISP classes, the instructors get angry fairly easy with the student and assign insane amounts of homework which there is no way any kid can concentrate long enough to get it done.

This charter school is WASC accredited. Students get excellent attention from their one-on-one teachers. Teachers are supportive and caring. Offers both classes and independent study. Great alternative for students seeking a non-traditional high school setting.

This school takes the nonsense out of the classroom, not as many eggshells to walk on. The student can concentrate on school more, in a more relaxed atmosphere. The student is graded on the work not [their] look, status or reputation.
