My son was having serious problems in school (he was 3 years behind in math and reading) and I tried Sylvan and Huntinton and neither of them would spend the amout of time it took to get my son up to speed. This school, The Learning Center, does one teacher with one student classes. It took about a year to catch him up, but it worked. Now he is getting better grades than he was from before he fell behind - they taught him how to study as well and how he learns so he does not have to spend as much time studying. He is a bit impatient when he does not catch on quickly...
