This school is in a rough area of Escondido, but its teachers refuse to give in to excuses. The teacher and principal quality at this school are excellent. The school's academic performance in the past few years has increasingly improved. I give high marks to its use of technology to help level the playing field against more affluent schools.
We are on our way, our children are our greatest asset and we need to invest more in them. If we improve their lives now they will have a happier childhood, they will grow up becoming outstanding citizens of our community and hopefully they will remember to pass it on to the next generation.
Band class if offered, however it is up to the teacher to provide extracurricular activities such as sports and art. Using Houghton Mifflin program for Language Arts
