My son is now in his second year attending ECS. There are no words to describe the LOVE...attention,compassion,and support... my son and we as parents receive from all.. the school staff ongoing. Because of this CARING... enviroment my son is thriving... academically. We as parents need to realize this is the most critical factor in selecting a school. Somewhere where it's not just said.. or in a mission statement but truly demonstrated...."Every child is unique and supported in their own individual way". My son previously attended two very high cost "Christian" schools south and west of Escondido and all along ECS was right here in Escondido where we live! My son, still oten ask me, "Mommy, why did it take so long to find ECS"? My answer is always the same, I'm sorry... but here you will stay...until you graduate!! Annamarie

My son has attended 3.5 wonderful years at ECS. He is now in 3rd grade and loves the school and his teachers. Academics surpass those of public schools in the area. He is active in the school's PE, Golf, Spanish, Computer Lab, music, etc... Throughout his years at ECS he has excelled in the SAT s. We couldn't be happier with his development in this school.

As a veteran of homeschooling, the student/staff culture is particularly a point of focus for me. Had I known about ECS years ago when my children were of school age, I would have entrusted their education to this caring staff. The teachers are seasoned and yet very much in tune with today's need for intelligent and practical technology integration. From my perspective, that is exactly what I would look for in an educational institution. Add to that the academic presentation in light of the gospel of Christ, and you find a rare school where the child can find a safe, nurturing harbor in which to grow and learn about the Creator's world. From the disciplines of music and art to the exploration of science and nature, Christ is honored.

ECS is a school that has gotten away from expecting students to fit the standard cookie cutter private Christian mode. ECS has a wonderful resource program to help struggling students, as well as an advanced program to help those who wish to excel beyond the classroom. The programming at ECS is geared to educate the whole child by offering weekly enrichment classes in music, art, computers, PE, and library. Every family that comes through our doors is welcomed as part of a long line of ECS families as ECS has been in the community for over 60 years.

I first looked at Escondido Christian School because it was close to my home. We knew we wanted a Christ-centered education for our kids. We enrolled our four children at ECS and our experience has been excellent. The academics are of the highest quality and they have so many extras to offer--sports, music, art, robotics, Spanish, computers, and more. Most importantly, the curriculum is Christ-centered and the teachers are not only credentialed, they are born again believers.

As a grandparent, I am overjoyed to see my grand children's love of their school. They love their teachers, the fun in learning, and the "extras" the school provides, such as art, music, drama, computer and PE. ECS gives the children a wonderful foundation in the Lord and in academics.

ECS is a great school and life learning environment. I have seen the academic development in my child grow in such a challenging, yet positive environment. The teachers and Administration also work hard in the the spiritual, character, and behavioral development of the children too. I highly recommend ECS to anyone.
