I am a sixteen year old early-grad Junior at Oasis high. Oasis and Independent study has allowed me to take responsibility for my own education, and brought discipline and independence to every area of my life. While Oasis offers no extracurricular activities it is a wonderful school. But, it is not for everyone, as self discipline is often easier talked about than practiced. The oppurtunity for acceleration of credits is wide open for all students, because you work very much at your own pace. It is also a good choice for any student who wants to work because you only attend school for one hour a day once a week(you do the homework at home).
