Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

We started going to St.Peter's part of the way through the year this last January. My daughter is in Kindergarten and my son is in Pre-K. I love the flexiblity of the Preschool/Pre-K hours and my kids started improving in a month. I was really surprised that they actually grew closer to each other going to the same school as I hadn't really thought it was possible for a 4 and 6 year old. My daughter is allowed to "check in" on her brothers at lunch and that is their favorite part of the day. We were talking about how many days to put my son in Pre-K next year and my daughter said she wanted to up him from 3 to 5 days so that she could see him at school. Priceless! I can't say enough good things about this school and I have felt so completely welcome by parents and teachers.

We began SPACS in January in the PK program. We were looking for a faith based education, nurturing environment, and rigorous academics. SPACS has meet our every request. Our daughter loves school, loves her new friends and really loves her teachers. She is thriving in every way a parent hopes for. Thank you St. Peter for being that place.

My son went to SPACS for preschool and now my daughter. When I placed my son it was after I had left a violent marriage and he had emotional problems. After a few months I noticed his behavior had improved and he was happy, I owe that to SPACS. Unfortunately my son had to switch to public school because SPACS doesn't offer speech therapy and I noticed there is a huge difference! The public system is good but my son just doesn't strive as much in a class full of 30 kids and he was sad for a while. The preschool teachers are very patient, calm, caring, and extremely loving. I plan on switching my son back as soon as he graduates from speech. The money is well worth it you get more what you pay more.

St Peter's is a wonderful Catholic community. The students attend Mass weekly, and all the teachers are Catholic. The teachers are dedicated and hard-working. The principal, Linda McCotter, has brought many improvements to the school.

I have two children currently attending SPACS. I have one child who attends the preschool and the other is participating in their Pre-K program. I am highly impressed with both programs and feel that they do an excellent job of finding a balance between social and academic skill building. My children love going to school everyday and come home with stories about fun lessons and amazing friendships. The classrooms and staff are very welcoming and I am confident dropping them off that I am making the best choice for their education. I plan on continuing to send them through the primary years and highly recommend to any parent to tour the school and enroll.

SPACS is such a blessing! The atmosphere is loving, caring and educational. The teachers are amazing. My son is getting to not only go through school with what is almost a one on one education but is also becoming more familiar with his faith as well. He is in the lower grades and I hope to keep him at this school through 8th grade. As a parent I could not ask for a better education for my child!

Up thorough the 6th grade my son was doing well. FUESD does a good job. During 7th grade, at Potter Junior High, he stopped thriving and went from honor roll to failing. Our son was falling through the cracks, despite our efforts with some excellent teachers. There are simply too many students to give one student the attention needed. Our family was miserable and fearful. We enrolled at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic School. The pastor, principal, and teachers were excellent. My impression is that the teachers at SPACC are not only working at a job, but a ministry. The best benefit is the community. The community at SPACC is priceless. It was no longer an option for our son to become invisible. He presented challenges to his teachers, and still has not realized his full potential as a student., but he got two solid years with a strong community that knew him, accepted him, and met his challenges with high expectations and compassion. Teachers, the principal, the pastor and the entire community found his strengths and built on them. It cemented his Catholic faith and gave him a chance at solid footing for high school. That outcome was better than straight A's!

Very Happy with the new Principal and all she has done to promote Catholic Education. These have been exciting time with new teachers, technology and leadership. My son is in his last two years and I will surely miss this school when he graduates.

We have 5 kids that have either graduated from St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School or are still attending it now. We will be there for 22 years, non stop. It has been THE BEST 22 years!!!! We have been blessed with not only outstanding educations for our children, but teachers, staff, fellow students, and families that have touched all of our lives in SO many wonderful ways. Our older children have graduated from or are now attending the following schools: U.C. Berkeley, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and U.C. Davis. Excellent School! Excellent Choice for Successful Kids!

Our daughter is in her final chapter at St. Peter s and we have been pleased with the school all these years. Its biggest shortfall, to us, was the technology but that is no longer the case. With a community effort led by dedicated parents/teachers, St. Peter s is all revved up for the 21st century. It has a state-of-the-art computer lab and the classrooms are equipped with new hardware. We WISH that the school was K-12 but no matter where our daughter goes, we know she ll thrive because of the foundation that St. Peter s has afforded her both academically and spiritually. A personable pastor, proactive principal and dedicated teachers truly take on an integral role in helping to shape and develop the students to reach their potential. We have not been disappointed and encourage YOU to come and take a look for yourself!!!

Sent two children here. Unbeatable Catholic education. Close, one-on-one attention. Responsive teachers and administration. Worth every penny.

I love our school! We've been there since our oldest was in preschool, she's now in the 5th. We have two other children, one in 1st and the other in PK. Families know each other and their children. The 8th graders know the preschoolers. The school is a true community. The curriculum is challenging - and, most important, the Catholic teaching is true and strong.

I have two children currently attending St. Peter's. We returned to the school this year after leaving six years ago due to our dissatisfaction with some aspects of the school at that time. The recent changes in administration paired with the dedicated staff have made us beyond thrilled with our decision to return. It is clear to us, at this point in the school year, that our kids are receiving a challenging education and that the current leadership is focused on building a truly great school. The communication with parents is good as are the opportunities to help on campus and with extra curricular activities. Overall, my husband and I are impressed and looking forward to continuing our childrens' Catholic education at St. Peter's.

I have 2 kids attending St. Peter's and there is no other place in Fallbrook I would consider. They have been attending for the past 8 years and I have 6 more to go. They actually want me to take them early and pick them up late. (They can stay until 5:30 PM in "Aftercare"). The quality of teachers, the new programs offered, the spiritual guidance and support of their older "Buddy" has proven to be an atmosphere of protection that cannot be attained in a public school. We all have a choice in life, and grooming my children to walk with the Lord and experience the quality of education that prepares them for the corporate world can be achieved and surpassed at St. Peter's. Take a tour for yourself.

I have 3 kids attending St. Peter's Catholic School. My kids all started at the pre-school and have loved every minute. All three of my children love their teachers and hate to miss a day of school. I love the community and the quality education that my kids receive at St. Peter's! I am impressed with the quality of work that is expected from them and the love tht each of their teachers give to them daily. My favorite aspect of St. Peter's is the family atomospere. Each child in the school is known by name and they take care of one another. My children not only receive an excellent education they are in a great environment. For me, there was no other choice than St. Peter's!

My daughters have absolutely THRIVED since we moved them from another private school to St. Peter's. My Kindergartener is reading her sister's 2nd grade books, and my 2nd grader is at 4th grade level. It is obvious that each of these teachers treats her role at St. Peter s Catholic School as a vocation, not just a paycheck. I believe the support and encouragement from Mrs. Anne Lewis, the principal, plays a significant part in how positively the faculty impacts the students they teach. The faculty take a personal interest in my daughers' growth and development and as a result, both of my girls have experienced a fulfilling, rewarding and fun school year. Come and see what a difference St. Peter's can make in your child's life!!!!

A year ago we moved from Los Angeles to Fallbrook and enrolled our daughter at St. Peter's Catholic School. My daughter then a third grade, student loved the school the first day she visited it.. We couldn't have found a better and safe environment for our daughter. The warm loving nature of the teachers helped my daughter and us during our transition from the big city. Coming from a private school in LA., we found that St. Peter's not only had great teachers, academics and programs, but also a beautiful spirituality that has nourished all our lives. St. Peter's teachers and principal embrace each child and their family oriented approach have allowed us to feel very much at home. We love St. Peter's.

We have a boy in Kindergarten. We are very pleased with his and our overall experience. In fact, our son reached 1st Grade entry reading after only 6 months! The teachers & staff are experienced, qualified & enthusiastic about their work. It is our understanding that the school ranks high on testing scores. The parents are very involved & are quick to volunteer to help make the school even better. The facilities & campus are clean & well maintained. Althought enrollment declined a few years ago, the school is actually growing again because our new Pastor has placed the school as one of his highest priorities. Thus, there are many positive changes and there is a new spirit at St. Peter's Catholic School!

St. Peter's summer homework program is very impressive. On the last day of school each of our children received a packet of academic activities to work on this summer in preparation for the upcoming year. The packets are so well organized and include fun activities in addition to reading assignments, and projects. The children will be prepared and more confident going into their next grade level. The teachers did a wonderful job with this. St. Peter's Catholic School gets better and better every year!

My son has only been going to the school for a few months. I see the teachers interacting with the students and helping them learn not only curriculum but also how to make good choices (pre-schoolers). My son is going through his 4 year old stage and testing waters but the principle and teachers were quick to sit down and have a meeting with me about how to best work together to curb his behavior. I have to say, this school already has exceeded expectations and is willing to work patiently with children and keep the parents involved in the decisions that they make. The outcome of the meeting had nothing but good results! Thank you SPCS!!!!

I was disappointed with SPCS. They have no funds or capabilities to work with children above or below grade. My son colored thruout kindergarten because he was so far ahead; there was nothing for him to do while teacher focused on rest of class. After removing my kids and putting them in public school, they entered GATE program and have done well. SPCS principal gives parents what they want to hear, yet never takes action on serious teaching or behavioral issues. We were blindsided by so much un-Christian behavior. I was so seriously disappointed - having attended Catholic school from 4th thru 12th grade myself, I expected SPCS to be equivalent. We have since moved out of state and have found FAR superior schools - but SPCS has been the biggest education mistake we ever mde.

Hi everyone! St. Peters has met our needs! Our two boys come home with new knowledge, new friends, and most important a stronger faith. I truly feel the school is going in the right direction with supportive parents, good teachers, and a principle that cares very much about Your Kids! We couldn't be happier and if we continue to support our school's adminstration team - our children will reap the benefits. We will be here for eight years and we will support St. Peter's Catholic School.

St Peter's Catholic Preschool is wonderful! The teacher's and aides are top notch and work tirelessly with the children to develop them acedemically and spritually. It is far from just a daycare program! I can't wait to enroll my soon-to-be preschool aged daughter.

My family and I have been a member of St. Peter s School & Parish community for a number of years now and we could not be more pleased. Just like anything in life there are ups and downs, and St. Peter s is not immune. But, the dedication of the administration, staff, teachers and parents is amazing! St. Peter s teaches the whole child, the curriculum is a faith base and academically stimulating. As, a parent when I have a concern, I have been meet by open ears and seen actions put into place to when needed. I choose to have my children attend St. Peter s and I know it was the best decision my husband and I have ever made. Our lives and my children's lives are better for having the experience of Catholic Education and knowing the wonderful families that attend our school and parish.

This school is very disappointing. This year is complete chaos. The school is running itself and barely hanging on for it's dear life. The principal & pastor are in complete denial of the situations and what is best for the children.

I have been at this school only a couple years. First year was impressive, but second year not so great. Parents complained about teachers without credentials & yet often times those teachers were amazing. If you look at public schools, those teachers are all credentialed yet the public school system is failing our children. This year, however, there has been too much turnover even the teacher some parents complained so much about left & he was one of the best. The principal this year seems to not be the one running the school. I think it's either the parents who do all the complaining and than eventually leave or the pastor are the ones running the school & it's not working. I haven't taken my child out yet because the public schools in the area are not much better. I hope things change soon or we are gone.

I have a child at this school for 4 years now. St Peter's Catholic School is a very good school. It is a small school and one classroom for each grade level. Some classes are as small as 12 students. There was some turnover in the last two years on the teaching staff but that seems to have come to an end. The teachers and the principal of this school really do care about everyone and do their best to accommodate you. Any time I've wanted a meeting with the principal I've had it the day I requested it.

We had been an involved family at SPCS for several years. Over the years we had seen class size increase, hiring of uncredentialed teachers, frequent teacher turnover and sadly which was once a loving atmoshere decline.

We think this school is wonderful. We have been a part of this school community for 9 years. my children are receiving an excellent education that is Christ centered. We sent them to St. Peter's to enrich our children in their Catholic faith and St. Peter's has done a great job. We are a small community and it does take effort on the part of the parents to keep tuition at an affordable rate. It is worth every minute of my time to volunteer and be with my children. We are a family here at St. Peter's and that's what I love best about this community.

I took my child out of Bonsall Elem. because I was sick of the non traditional ideas being taught to my child.I have some reservations about SPCS, like teacher turnover, although they do manage to replace the teachers with experienced teachers.Even though, the kindergarten class is a spirited group and a very large class, my child is officially a reader, who is making rapid progress everyday. The rest of the classes have a smaller teacher to student ratio,4th grade is 18-1,which is appealling. There are some academic shortfalls like not enough emphasis on writing in the lower grades. There are also academic appeals like a teacher who has a very strong science background can ramp up the level at which they teach our children.I was surprised at the emphasis on math and science prior to middle school. However, the wholesome environment and the small faith based community is extremely appealling.

We took our children out of this school after several years there. We found that the leadership was deteriorating and teacher turnover was unacceptable. The academic program was fair but extracurricular activities were poor and counted almost exclusively on parent leadership. The expectations of parent involvement is unfair as a few did most of the work and the request for money on top of tuition was tiresome. It was a disappointing experience. For parents who had a superior Catholic education, there was no comparison. We would not recommend this school until several issue are addressed and resolved.

This is our 1st year in a private school and I have to say it is a bit disappointing. The kinder's class is overcrowded, and the teacher seems frazzled even with 4 years experience. It is also more money than we anticipated as there are constant Mandatory 'Donations' required. We are looking elsewhere for the next year.

Our child goes to the pre-school. I would say the overall experience is 'fair'. The kids dont get the attention necessary for that age. Our child is very active, smart, and easily bored. This school does not challenge. I dont know if it adds up to any more than 'daycare plus'....

My child is currently enrolled in the preschool program. I have observed the children receiving instruction on the basics alphabet/numbers/colors), as well as, being taught basics in science. I was very pleased see this type of interaction and involvement with the children and would recommend this school.
