Up thorough the 6th grade my son was doing well. FUESD does a good job. During 7th grade, at Potter Junior High, he stopped thriving and went from honor roll to failing. Our son was falling through the cracks, despite our efforts with some excellent teachers. There are simply too many students to give one student the attention needed. Our family was miserable and fearful. We enrolled at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic School. The pastor, principal, and teachers were excellent. My impression is that the teachers at SPACC are not only working at a job, but a ministry. The best benefit is the community. The community at SPACC is priceless. It was no longer an option for our son to become invisible. He presented challenges to his teachers, and still has not realized his full potential as a student., but he got two solid years with a strong community that knew him, accepted him, and met his challenges with high expectations and compassion. Teachers, the principal, the pastor and the entire community found his strengths and built on them. It cemented his Catholic faith and gave him a chance at solid footing for high school. That outcome was better than straight A's!

Very Happy with the new Principal and all she has done to promote Catholic Education. These have been exciting time with new teachers, technology and leadership. My son is in his last two years and I will surely miss this school when he graduates.

We have 5 kids that have either graduated from St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School or are still attending it now. We will be there for 22 years, non stop. It has been THE BEST 22 years!!!! We have been blessed with not only outstanding educations for our children, but teachers, staff, fellow students, and families that have touched all of our lives in SO many wonderful ways. Our older children have graduated from or are now attending the following schools: U.C. Berkeley, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and U.C. Davis. Excellent School! Excellent Choice for Successful Kids!

Our daughter is in her final chapter at St. Peter s and we have been pleased with the school all these years. Its biggest shortfall, to us, was the technology but that is no longer the case. With a community effort led by dedicated parents/teachers, St. Peter s is all revved up for the 21st century. It has a state-of-the-art computer lab and the classrooms are equipped with new hardware. We WISH that the school was K-12 but no matter where our daughter goes, we know she ll thrive because of the foundation that St. Peter s has afforded her both academically and spiritually. A personable pastor, proactive principal and dedicated teachers truly take on an integral role in helping to shape and develop the students to reach their potential. We have not been disappointed and encourage YOU to come and take a look for yourself!!!

Sent two children here. Unbeatable Catholic education. Close, one-on-one attention. Responsive teachers and administration. Worth every penny.

I love our school! We've been there since our oldest was in preschool, she's now in the 5th. We have two other children, one in 1st and the other in PK. Families know each other and their children. The 8th graders know the preschoolers. The school is a true community. The curriculum is challenging - and, most important, the Catholic teaching is true and strong.

I have two children currently attending St. Peter's. We returned to the school this year after leaving six years ago due to our dissatisfaction with some aspects of the school at that time. The recent changes in administration paired with the dedicated staff have made us beyond thrilled with our decision to return. It is clear to us, at this point in the school year, that our kids are receiving a challenging education and that the current leadership is focused on building a truly great school. The communication with parents is good as are the opportunities to help on campus and with extra curricular activities. Overall, my husband and I are impressed and looking forward to continuing our childrens' Catholic education at St. Peter's.

I have 2 kids attending St. Peter's and there is no other place in Fallbrook I would consider. They have been attending for the past 8 years and I have 6 more to go. They actually want me to take them early and pick them up late. (They can stay until 5:30 PM in "Aftercare"). The quality of teachers, the new programs offered, the spiritual guidance and support of their older "Buddy" has proven to be an atmosphere of protection that cannot be attained in a public school. We all have a choice in life, and grooming my children to walk with the Lord and experience the quality of education that prepares them for the corporate world can be achieved and surpassed at St. Peter's. Take a tour for yourself.

I have 3 kids attending St. Peter's Catholic School. My kids all started at the pre-school and have loved every minute. All three of my children love their teachers and hate to miss a day of school. I love the community and the quality education that my kids receive at St. Peter's! I am impressed with the quality of work that is expected from them and the love tht each of their teachers give to them daily. My favorite aspect of St. Peter's is the family atomospere. Each child in the school is known by name and they take care of one another. My children not only receive an excellent education they are in a great environment. For me, there was no other choice than St. Peter's!

My daughters have absolutely THRIVED since we moved them from another private school to St. Peter's. My Kindergartener is reading her sister's 2nd grade books, and my 2nd grader is at 4th grade level. It is obvious that each of these teachers treats her role at St. Peter s Catholic School as a vocation, not just a paycheck. I believe the support and encouragement from Mrs. Anne Lewis, the principal, plays a significant part in how positively the faculty impacts the students they teach. The faculty take a personal interest in my daughers' growth and development and as a result, both of my girls have experienced a fulfilling, rewarding and fun school year. Come and see what a difference St. Peter's can make in your child's life!!!!

A year ago we moved from Los Angeles to Fallbrook and enrolled our daughter at St. Peter's Catholic School. My daughter then a third grade, student loved the school the first day she visited it.. We couldn't have found a better and safe environment for our daughter. The warm loving nature of the teachers helped my daughter and us during our transition from the big city. Coming from a private school in LA., we found that St. Peter's not only had great teachers, academics and programs, but also a beautiful spirituality that has nourished all our lives. St. Peter's teachers and principal embrace each child and their family oriented approach have allowed us to feel very much at home. We love St. Peter's.

We have a boy in Kindergarten. We are very pleased with his and our overall experience. In fact, our son reached 1st Grade entry reading after only 6 months! The teachers & staff are experienced, qualified & enthusiastic about their work. It is our understanding that the school ranks high on testing scores. The parents are very involved & are quick to volunteer to help make the school even better. The facilities & campus are clean & well maintained. Althought enrollment declined a few years ago, the school is actually growing again because our new Pastor has placed the school as one of his highest priorities. Thus, there are many positive changes and there is a new spirit at St. Peter's Catholic School!

St. Peter's summer homework program is very impressive. On the last day of school each of our children received a packet of academic activities to work on this summer in preparation for the upcoming year. The packets are so well organized and include fun activities in addition to reading assignments, and projects. The children will be prepared and more confident going into their next grade level. The teachers did a wonderful job with this. St. Peter's Catholic School gets better and better every year!

My son has only been going to the school for a few months. I see the teachers interacting with the students and helping them learn not only curriculum but also how to make good choices (pre-schoolers). My son is going through his 4 year old stage and testing waters but the principle and teachers were quick to sit down and have a meeting with me about how to best work together to curb his behavior. I have to say, this school already has exceeded expectations and is willing to work patiently with children and keep the parents involved in the decisions that they make. The outcome of the meeting had nothing but good results! Thank you SPCS!!!!

I was disappointed with SPCS. They have no funds or capabilities to work with children above or below grade. My son colored thruout kindergarten because he was so far ahead; there was nothing for him to do while teacher focused on rest of class. After removing my kids and putting them in public school, they entered GATE program and have done well. SPCS principal gives parents what they want to hear, yet never takes action on serious teaching or behavioral issues. We were blindsided by so much un-Christian behavior. I was so seriously disappointed - having attended Catholic school from 4th thru 12th grade myself, I expected SPCS to be equivalent. We have since moved out of state and have found FAR superior schools - but SPCS has been the biggest education mistake we ever mde.

Hi everyone! St. Peters has met our needs! Our two boys come home with new knowledge, new friends, and most important a stronger faith. I truly feel the school is going in the right direction with supportive parents, good teachers, and a principle that cares very much about Your Kids! We couldn't be happier and if we continue to support our school's adminstration team - our children will reap the benefits. We will be here for eight years and we will support St. Peter's Catholic School.

St Peter's Catholic Preschool is wonderful! The teacher's and aides are top notch and work tirelessly with the children to develop them acedemically and spritually. It is far from just a daycare program! I can't wait to enroll my soon-to-be preschool aged daughter.

My family and I have been a member of St. Peter s School & Parish community for a number of years now and we could not be more pleased. Just like anything in life there are ups and downs, and St. Peter s is not immune. But, the dedication of the administration, staff, teachers and parents is amazing! St. Peter s teaches the whole child, the curriculum is a faith base and academically stimulating. As, a parent when I have a concern, I have been meet by open ears and seen actions put into place to when needed. I choose to have my children attend St. Peter s and I know it was the best decision my husband and I have ever made. Our lives and my children's lives are better for having the experience of Catholic Education and knowing the wonderful families that attend our school and parish.

This school is very disappointing. This year is complete chaos. The school is running itself and barely hanging on for it's dear life. The principal & pastor are in complete denial of the situations and what is best for the children.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students.
