St. Lawrence Academy has excellent academics, a rounded arts curriculum, fabulous teacher-student ratio, individual attention to a wide variety of student needs, traditional values, and attention to character development unequaled in the area.

St. Lawrence Academy offers a solid core curriculum plus music and art in a safe, structured enviornment. We have had children here for three years now and they are thriving. The classes are small so our children are able to get the attention they need in areas of struggle. The staff is very caring and concerned about the educational progress of all students. There are lots of opportunities for parent involvement which creates a community centered around the future of all of our children. We feel very blessed to have found this school and hope to have all of our children have the opportunity to attend K-8th here.

This school offers music, language, art, and science to all children which is a surprise considering the fact that these programs are being cut from the public system. For that reason, and many others I am happy with the decision to place my eldest in the care of the SLA staff. The small, communal approach is a perfect compliment to our family; and what we consider the best means to support our child as she grows.

St. Lawrence Academy offers a holistic approach to learning which takes into account the well being of the student, and encourages healthy relationships in a community atmosphere, all while teaching an excellent core curriculum, particularly strong in history, language and math, but also including science, art, and music for the elementary through eighth grades. Five of my children have attended St. Lawrence Academy and we are very happy with their academic strengths when main streaming into high school.

I have really enjoyed having my daughter at this school. The teachers are very friendly and very involved in the childrens' well-being. I also very much appreciate the small, intimate classrooms instead of the over crowded classrooms you see else where. The curriculum has a string emphasis on math and reading and writing skills which I believe so many young people lack as they move forward in their education. This is a great school and I plan on keeping my daughter here throughout her entire elementary life!
