I think all the parents need to get over themselves and stop blaming the school for their child's or childrens lack of improvement i mean the teachers do their best to teach and it's students that choose wheather or not to follow directions not the teachers if a student wants to lack then so be it that's their fault not the teachers and if students are bad it's because of them not the school or district....my little sister goes to this school and she's been doing awesome there and the staff are amazing...so parents get over yourselves and stop blaming the teachers for your child or childrens lack
My daughter has been at this school for two years and I am utterly disgusted with the lack of organization and poor education that takes place at this school. Very little is done to protect students while they are on campus and the children are very nasty to each other. I am currently looking into obtaining an inter or intradistrict transfer....my main objective is to make sure that my child does not return to this school.
This is my daughter's first year at Alder and I am less than impressed with the lack of challenges that she is receiving with regard to her education. She has been placed in advanced classes and doesnt seem to be doing work that is any more difficult than her 5th grade work. If I can help it, she will not return.
This is my daughter's third and final year at Alder. Had I been able to, I would have enrolled her elsewhere. We have had a handful of very wonderful teachers, but her overall quality of education has been deplorable. The 2006-2007 school year was quite tumultuous, and the turnover had a very negative impact on my child's learning. Communication from the district was (and still is) non-existent. I applaud and affirm those teachers who have fought to hold things together and have tried to pick up the pieces from last year. I sincerely hope that the school and district administration are now moving forward with greater focus on our students' learning.
Great office staff and administration. Good principal. Safe school that knows what is going on. Helpful.
