Foresthill Elementary School

What a shame! This district is eliminating 6 teachers in the district. Teachers who bring new blood, energy, and talent. I feel bad for the students that will be in larger classes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the district thought it was a priority to educate children.

I have special needs children and the school and most of it's teachers have been willing to work with me on getting my kids on track. The small town atmosphere really shows through and staff is super friendly and helpful. This school really tries hard to help your children be successful and cherish their individuality.

This is a very small district including just the elementary and middle school and has all the wonderful qualities you would imagine in a small town. The principal has been at the school for almost 35 years. The teachers and staff are all experienced and work together to create a school that runs smoothly and efficiently. Even the public transportation department is great! The systems used for safety issues (pick-up/drop-off, traffic) are outstanding. The quality of the academic programs is right on target. The district is working on implementing more arts programs. There are P.E., art and musical activities incoporated into normal cirriculum. There is an abundance of parent involvement. I have never seen so many volunteers! Another bonus is the salad bar included with cafeteria meals. The district seems to consitently working on ways to continue to improve this already fantanstic school.
