I have found this school very enriching for my children. Parent involvement is exceptional and far greater than any other school I have seen. There are always parents who want to blame the school or the administration for their own woes. I suspect that is a lot of what is being posted here. While there are some parents in the community that have sent their kids elsewhere, there are also many children who have come from out of district to be at this school for the positive programs and environment. I say if you want to help your school, be a positive influence on its staff, children and community. You will get out of a school what you put into it as a parent and citizen.

I am dissappointed with Forestville School. there is no leadership with the Principal at the School. After reading what is a good principal...oh my she has but two of the qualities. She also is big on favoritism towards staff and students. I am sorry to have to remove my child.

I have two children that attend Forestville School and I also have experienced a lot of difficulties with teachers and staff. A lot of homework has been misplaced or labeled missing when it has been graded and returned home. Some of the teachers and teachers aids tend to be extremely rude to the children.

We have tried 3 schools in the West County and Forestville Academy/Elem are by far the best in the area. The drama dept is incredible! The teachers are so caring and wonderful. One of my kids transfered in mid year and we shocked at how far behind her old school was. It took 2 months to catch up. I highly recommend both schools.

I must say that Forestville Academy has been the worst school my son has been to. Particular teachers have been extremely inapropriate and rude. I would recomend it to nobody.

I could not ask for more support for my 7th grade boy than is provided by the Academy staff. I absolutely see positive reaction to limit bullying and have found the extracurricular activites and staff to be the best.

I am a parent of two children that have been at Forestville School and Academy for 7 years. We have seen it go from a good school with lots of parent involvment to a below average with many serious problems such as bullying and harrassment. This is the only school in our small community and many of my neighbors have removed thier children and placed them in other schools due to problems with bullys and harrassment. When it was brought to the attention of the current administration, the parents were ignored and told that it was thier children's fault and it must be coming from the home environment. I thought that school administrators were supposed to be advocates for our children. As for the GATE program that Forestville Academy says that they have, it is non-existent.
