Actually heard a yard duty aide tell students not to give her any s--- because she wasn't in the f------ mood for it. I don't even talk that way at home but it's okay to say that at school? and an employee!!

Agree with last post. There is definite bullying and no long-term consequences. Cycle just repeats itself. Pulled my daughters from this school because of this. Overall, would not recommend this school.

As a parent of a child with a 504 plan in place for a special need I must say that this school is outstanding in the way that they work with you to create the most positive environment possible for your child. Everyone knows each other in the school and all diversities are welcomed.

I have one child left at Forestville Academy and a graduate. I believe Forestville is an excellent school. We have wonderful, caring teachers and a great administrative staff. I am very pleased with the academic program and all the extra's being offered. We offer great elective classes in junior high and some GATE classes after school. Our parent group is very involved and supports the many extracurricular activities we have. I would recommend this school to anyone.

My son has been in Forestville school starting t the on-site preschool. We love the school. They have wonderful caring teachers and staff. A great amount of parent involvment. I think the bullying has really stopped I have never had a problem, In fact they even have a private bully line to call if you have a problem. I do however feel they are not strict enough when there has been problems.

I went to Forestville School for 6 years (before I moved) and it has always been a great school. I loved the teachers there and the office has always been a great place to get help, and they're really friendly. My own Aunt liked the school so much that she even got a job in the office. If you are moving into the area or thinking about moving into the area you should really think about Forestville. The school and the town is great!

Forestville School has a very serious and ongoing problem with severe bullying. A very large amount of parents have pulled their children out of this school.(Including me) Despite the school's claim to be doing more about the this,I am contacted by other parents and told that it remains a problem. It appears that the school is not doing a serious and consistant effort to curb the abuse.
