This school is great! The teachers are wonderful. Enroll your child now. You won't regret it.

I am rating the teachers at Fortuna Middle School. Especially 8th grade level. You won't find a better quality of teachers in Humboldt County.

This is an over-all good school. The teachers are outstanding. I have learned so much from them. They are hard-working and very devoted to teaching.

I attended Fortuna Middle School(then Town)many years ago and have worked in school systems for years and feel that there is a bigger picture to look at then the lack of G.A.T.E. and awards systems. Society as a whole has changed and not for the better. 'No Child Left Behind' has made it impossible for school with large numbers of children that have not stayed in one District for more then two years at a time, and with learning problems, to be swept under the rug, hoping they will move again so as not to pull the test scores down too long. Our schools are not failing us and much as we are failing our schools and our children.
