Perfect for people 3rd grade and under. When you get older, the little kid activities and classes become less productive from naughty kids, making it boring.
I really did not like it there. Over half of the listed extracurricular activities are only done about once every two years. Also, the English standards are a bit lacking. Nice discipline though.
It is a great school to send kids to learn both written and spoken Chinese. I like all the teachers. I highly recommend this school. You have to register early as the waiting list is long.
It's a great school. That's all to it. I've seen good improvement not only in language, but also on other academic subjects in school.
The teachers don't know the Constitution: Equal rights for all.
My son has been with this school for many years for after school care. His math grades have always been great in his regular school, because he has already learnt it here before his regular school. The best part is his Chinese. He learnt Chinese here during weekdays. So we do not have to send him to weekend Chinese school, and the result I believe is much better than once a week weekend Chinese school. It also left us more weekend time for other activities. The school also hold year-end performance show. Frankly, the quality of the performance is amazing. By the way, my son loves the food served here for lunch. But he can only have it when his regular school is off (e.g., during the summer break).
My daught went to this school. It is a wonderful school. The teachers there are excellent. My daughter likes it very much and have a lot of friends there. We highly recommned it!
My two daughters attend Bright Horizon. The school provides ample time between recreation, reading/writing, math, and Mandarin instruction. In 1st grade, the children learn long addition, subtraction and their math tables up to 10x10 and more. In two 1/2 years, my older daughter can converse and write in Mandarin even though our family has no Chinese background. The teachers and Director/Principals work tirelessly to help the kids excel. It is a great alternative to other after school programs that do not offer a combination of academic and recreational activities.
I am very pleased with this school. My son attends its summer program for the past two years. Excellent staff and the principal (or director) really cares for each child!
