I love Northcutt Elementary. My child was new to the school and Mrs. Henriquez made her feel welcomed. She is a wonderful 1st grade teacher. She really cares for her students. Overall, the staff is very friendly and they have a wonderful principal, Mrs. Druitt. I would recommend this school to others.

The quality of the class here really depends on the teacher you get. We had one really good teacher. Further, the teachers are constantly being sent to classes resulting in subsitute teachers which leads to inconsitency in curriculum. Music and chorus are the only good extracurricular activities.

Northcutt has a warm, friendly staff. Students are recognized for their successes. Students are prepared for testing. Music is available. Northcutt has a PTA that is run by a small group of parents and could use more volunteers.

My daughter is going into the 5th grade this year and my son is going into the 3rd grade. Both of my children have attended Northcutt since kindergarten and I plan on keeping both of them there till they graduate from the 6th grade. The school is a very nice campus and I agree that there is not enough focus on the children who do speak english properly and that maybe the upper grades do have just a few too many kids in there but other than that I am very happy my kids attend Northcutt

My daughter attended Northcutt for five years, out of the five years I was only happy with two of her teachers, esl is a huge problem in this school and it holds other children behind.

This was my child's first year of school. We were so lucky to have gotten Mrs. Anstead for her teacher. She is a wonderful kindergarten teacher. Her love for the children and her kindness to the parents were greatly admired. She did so many wonderful things with the kids, and included parents in many activities. We were always well informed of what was going on in the room, and felt very welcome to come in and help or just stop by for a few minutes. She did so much for my child, she is even reading! She loved bringing the special projects home and returning them the next day. Miss French was also a big help in the room. Any child and parent will be blessed if they get Mrs. Anstead! Thank you Mrs. Anstead and Northcutt.
