My son came here as overloaded student and still here. I was little worried in the beginning by looking at API but i found out things are great specially principal< she is young, energetic and comes with an agenda which i personally think its good. when I compare this school with Forest Park the only thing missing here parents feed back or I should say volunteers. I believe school is doing their best now we the parents needs to support. also i would like to congrats principal for building such a wonderful compter labs (total 32 new computers, speakers, software etc).

This is a great school. We came as overloads and continued to stay. My kids go to 6th and 2nd grade here. All teachers are very competent. Principal is the best principal I have seen. She knows all students by name! This year shool saw API grow by 29. I hope it continues to do better and become a top school in state. If parents can get involved more, this school can do wonders. We like school enough to drop kids 3 miles every day, when there is school across the street.

This is a very good school. My nephew has some social issues and Oliveira was extremely helpful in getting him adjusted. I would reccomend this school.

It is an okay school. There is a lot of parent involvement, the teachers are corteous and there are many afterschool oppurtunities.

My review is for Kindergarten.. Teachers are the big strength for this school. I found them very qualified and good. They will challenge the kids quite a bit. The demographics is well distributed and the teachers and the principal try hard to make their school as good as other schools nearby. The parent involvement needs to get a lot better. I do not know about the extracurricular activities a whole lot.

Very good school. Principal is so much involved in all the activities. I think if more parents get involved, the school can be among the top score schools in the state. Teachers and staff are friendly. Students are the top priority.

- Teachers and principal are very involved with students. - Very conducive environment for kids to learn and grow. - They keep pace with child's abilities. Both our children go to Oliveira Elementary and we are very happy. We went there as overloads, but will most liekely continue.

My son attended Oliveira for K and 1st grades. I loved it. He had wonderful teachers both years. Mrs. Nakken for K and Mrs. Takemoto for 1st. They were wonderful. The principal, Ms. Jablonsky, is also a great principal. She takes the time to learn the students' names and to talk to them and really listen. My son loved attending there and didn't want to leave when we moved away.

Mrs Hulvey and Mrs Schlein taught my son in Kindergarten and 1st grade and they are both excellent teachers. Teacher-wise this school is second to none. They are great. I expect Oliveira to score 810 this year in the API test scores.

My daughter was fortunate to have Miss Magdziak as her second grade teacher last year. She's excellent! Her leadership and teaching techniques are to be commended. She's so organized and made learning a fun experience. I loved the fact she exposed the children to liberal arts i.e., music, yoga, art, etc. I nominate her teacher of the year!
