I would not send my grandchildren to any other school. The staff at Polk is kind, helpful and always there for you as a parent, grandparent or child. FIVE STARS FOR YOU POLK!!!

:DI Love This School.And Miss It Now That I'm In Middle School.Love The Teachers ,There Really Nice But I Dont Know Why Other 6Th Grade Kids Dislike It?:/

My family and I love Polk. The staff is great and welcoming, always smile esp. Miss Bea, Miss Amanda, Mrs. Davis, Mr. Shergill and everyone else. My children are really happy there and they're learning alot. Thank you.

Polk is the best elementary school I have ever seen. My three kids are attending there. Teachers are great, supportive and care. Thank you Mrs. Morehead for everything that you have done for my daughter. You are the best. I also would like to thank Mrs. Garlick for making this school so safe, best education and your support through everything to everyone. If issue comes up, and if we go to Mrs. Garlikc then you know it will be resovlved. I also thank to Mrs. Bergman, Mrs. Sickler, Mrs. Amanda and everyone at Polk for your best of best offers to all students and families. I would recommend that you have your kids go to Polk.

My child goes to polk and she loves it there and i'm going to keep her there untill shes in sixth!

Polk is good but I feel it is lacking supervision during lunch recess. More recrerational options are needed during that time to stimulate creativity. Craft tables or organized sports activities would be such a great adition in improving the childrens social skills. These activities would promote more comeradaty with in the students

James K. Polk Elementary is a great school! My child enjoys going to school because of the teacher, the curriculum and the activities she learns at school. She is a reader so she truly enjoys their library days. The principal is excellent! She is focused and very involved in making sure the students benefit from their classroom environment. The assistant principal is wonderful too. Both of these ladies are all about learning. My husband and I appreciate their diligence.

Polk Elementary is a great school. The staff is amazing and I absolutely love the all of Kindergarten teachers. My child has been going there for 2 years now and we've loved every minute of it! They are very family friendly and love parent involvement. Just a great school!

Polk Elementary School is WONDERFUL! My son has atteneded the past 2 years and is doing wonderful. They have great programs the entire school uses such as JIJI and Accelerated Reader. With Accelerated Reader my son was reading 2nd grade books by the end of Kinder. The staff at Polk is awesome. They are always there for answers. The sports teams are doing great. The Girls Basketball team and the Football team took home the District Championship this year. Way To Go Polk.

I have 2 children who attend Polk age 9 & age 12. Both have attended since day 1 of Polk's Opening Day 2 years ago. The school is fairly new and there is a lot of room for improvement. Academicly both my children are lacking and test scores are low. Polk does have excellent school grounds.
