Valley Preparatory Academy Charter School

This school is the next best thing to homeschool or private school (which we cannot afford) Valley Prep provides the best of both worlds. It has really provided a safe and friendly enviornment which I really appreciate for my kids. Valley Prep teaches and promotes values that we as a family teach at home. Not only do they teach it, they really hold the students accoutable for their character. The teachers really go above and beyond for their students. I have experiences this first hand - my son's teacher does everything possible to help my son do his best. They really do care!! We only hope they start a high school soon!!

We love this school. One thing we like is the monthly breakfasts that are informative and where we can ask questions. They also have special guests that come speak to the parents.

I love this school for so many reasons. I really like the dress code and believe it helps the focus to stay where it needs to be...on academics. I love the teachers and staff, who are absolutely wonderful. They really care about the kids and want to see them succeed. I like that music, art, and character development is part of the curriculum. They have sports and other extra-curricular activities are available as well. The commitment to the whole child by providing healthy, well-balanced lunches is another thing to be proud of. VPA is just perfect for our family.

My child has been at Valley Prep since the school opened its doors (one of the first kindergarten students). I am thankful that I can send my child to school everyday and know that my child feels safe and is being taught and held to a high level of character accountability. I appreciate Valley Prep and would not enroll my child in any other school.

My daughter is in 7th grade at this school and she loves it. The teachers are great and she is learning a lot. We are so glad they teach character every morning and that our daughter can play volleyball.

There was a lot of favoritism shown. If you were related to any of the teachers or staff you managed to get away with alot of bad behavior. Two students can commit the offense and have the same history. One will get a harsher punishment than the other. Their no tolerance for bulling does not really apply. one student in particular bullied and hit other students was given many chances one more chance with little regard to the safety of the other students. I am glad I have moved all my children from that school. I also thought that they encourage children to tattle on Everything.

I like that the school is small and personable and has a safe environment. My child feels safe at school. I am happy they have new programs after school. Also, my daughter is excited about cheerleading and going to camp.

My family is very blessed to have found a school like Valley Prep Academy. Both my children have done very well at this school. The teachers and staff really do care about all the students and do a great job in teaching them about character, trustworthy, discipline, respectfulness, caring and other traits.
