Houghton-Kearney Elementary School

H-K is Awesome! It has the small country school feeling that most of us out here grew up with. We just finished our first year here with our oldest (3rd generation). He has made life long friends. The staff is wonderful to work with. We are glad to have planted our flowers here to grow for the next 8 plus years! I know you will enjoy the small town feeling you get out here in the country!!!!

This small school in rural Fresno County is a wonderful example of what a school should be ! The education the children receive is tops, the teachers & all staff are truly caring, kind and concerned for each student.

This school has a great sense of community, and works hard to provide the best for the student. The parent involvement is wonderful. My son's class did 1 fundraiser that paid for all his field trips all year, and everyone was involved at the school. It is like a family.

HK is a great school. My son is in the first grade and his teacher is the best. She shows she cares about each and everyone of her students. She kept me up to date on all of my son's progress and areas he needs help in. We had several meetings over the year so we could work together to make sure he was successful.
