This school is great. The teachers go above and beyond. Their reading programs in 1st and 2nd really helped my struggling boy. He now proudly says he can read. My daughter is gate bound, she was challenged to her full potential. I can't say enough about the teachers of this school. To the previous parent, one bad teacher doesn't make a bad school!!

This school is horrible! The curriculum is pathetic, the teachers are (for the most part) incompetent, their attention to safety of the students is nonexistent. My son went to this school for a few months after attending River Bluff in Central Unified. There was no comparison. Everything about Fancher Creek was abysmal. We hated it so much that we actually moved all the way back to Central Unified to get our son back into River Bluff. I cringe at the thought of my son ever having to attend another school in Clovis Unified.

My son has attended Fancher Creek since preschool and he has had great teachers in his kindergarten and first grade. I know Mr. Kearney is trying as a new principal but he still has a lot to learn.

I'm the parent of three kids with different needs. My sixteen year old who went from having 'D and F's' to getting honor roll back when she was in Mr.Kelly's 6th grade class. My son who struggles with a medical condition was never turned away.My youngest who absolutely loves school.Rosie and Mr.Kelly did'nt just instill education in my kids life ,they made Fancher Creek a home.Thank you for being such great cheerleaders for our kids.

My child has been in this school for 5 years and every year it has gotten worse. We have seen several great dedicated teachers leave because of the lack of respect they are given by the principal. This school is in big trouble unless there are some huge changes made. I will not be bringing my child back for her last year.

The school needs more funds. Expand the school, remodel the class. The students need more computers.

I think Fancher Creek is a good School. When my daughter was struggling in first grade with reading, they were right on it. She was in reading recovery and they got her up to speed right away. They have many programs afterschool like intervention and during school like read 180 to assist kids with reading, etc. I liked Mrs. Rivera and sad to see her go, but I know change is always a good thing, especially in education. Mr. Kearney will come in with some fresh ideas. I think we all have to think positive. My daughter's teacher this year was oustanding and was able to bring out the best in her, she has never achieved so much in years prior. The only thing that could improve is the leadership of some of the sports programs.

The great teachers at this school have left. The teachers are overworked and unappreciated. The principal acts like a cheerleader and not a leader of a school. My child does not feel safe at this school. I will not be bringing my child back next year!

First of all my 2 kids love going to school. They are getting a quality education. I help the teachers when I can, they seem stressed but treat my kids with concern and respect. My youngest has a reading teacher besides his regular teacher. He is starting to really read now. The dress code is ok, it's a district thing. The afterschool programs offer many choices. My oldest is involved in many sports opportunities. I heard the principal is leaving, she will be missed by my two kids. The school has a few kids that need to be expelled, they are bullies and just angry. They need to go. The school needs more parents to volunteer and care about their kids. Neighborhood could be better. Overall it is a nice school with nice teachers and people.

I'm not sure what goes on while their in school, but my third and sixth grader get very excited over their schools extracurricular. I know we enjoy the after school activities. But I have to say all the principles and vice principles I have known, these have to be the best. They show a real interest in their students, they have gone far beyond the call of duty in many situations. I have not seen any compare to them
