I have two children who attend Vinland they have been there since preschool and now are going into first and second grade. My children love Vinland the teachers are great ecspecially Mrs. Ochoa who is a preschool teacher and and Mrs. Palacio and Mrs. Marquez are wonderful. My kids always talk about how they really like their teachers, I am also moving and will now be in Clovis District but my kids are going to stay at Vinland. This is a such a good school

The school itself is great. The teachers and staff are terrific. I just wish they had buses for the kids. I think it would be easier getting them off to school in the mornings.

On my last review i didn't say however there are some awesome teacher's that really do have the my 5 star approval Mrs. Marquez 1st , Mrs. Moua1st, Mrs. Bargas1st, Mrs. Johnson 2nd, Mrs. Dalton 3rd, Mr. Benning 3rd, and Mrs. Roberts 4th grade made a difference in my 2 children that attend Vinland. To Laura Sullivan And Mr. Lee Young we miss you!

I have 3 children that went to this school my oldest finished his 6th grade ok. but when they changed principals thats when we started having major problems. And the kids are bullies. There were about 6 teachers that were really good the rest you can forget. I pulled my other two children out of this school and they are much happier where they are at now.

My child went to school here for kindergarden. I went to elementary school here as well. I was not impressed with the school. The teacher had a large number of students in the class and often needed parent volunteers. My child learned more in preschool then she had in kindergarden. Needless to say I pulled her out of this school and moved her to another one. There is not a lot of parent participation. The school does not provide many extracurricular activites. It was disappointing to see how the school no longer offered many of the things I remember it used to offer.

My grandson has been going to Vinland for 2 year now (K and now the 1st grade). I have no major complaints about the school, we have been lucky and have had 2 very wonderful teachers that are very knowledgable and are excellent with kids. The only thing that disturbs me is there is no parent involvement. I signed up for the PTA at the begining of school this year. this is the very 1st time I have ever done this, and was amazed that there was only about 7 people that were coming to meetings. Yet the parents complain about what the school has and doesn't have (library, music department), but they don't want to do anything to try to get these things changed and corrected.

My child attended Vinland in the 2003/2004 school year. We had a such a wonderful experience with the staff and PTA! Wonderful school, and I advise parents to get involved, it only benefit's your child's learning experience.

My son attended Vinland up until the 2002-2003 school year. Over all he loved his school and staff. Mr. Avedesian(Principal) is a great principal that is very involved with his students and his staff.
