I noticed exquisite appearance of Ivy Crest Montessori Private School while driving down the Chapman Avenue in Fullerton. I stopped the car to admire the renaissance style gorgeous building whose secretive appearance invited me in. Once inside the lobby was as beautifully designed and furnished as the exterior of the school. It gives sense of nobleness, purity, structure and integrity. I had a feeling like I just stopped in Oxford academy in England just adapted for children. I was greeted by warm smile of Miss Glenda whose gorgeous desk blends perfectly with the antique interior of the gorgeous entrance room. She referred me to talk with the school principal Miss Claire Takeda whose warm smile and comprehensive introduction of the school reassured me that the greatness of the school appearance does not stops there but it is incorporated in the stuff personality and their dedication to children s care, development, and success. Next I talked with schools academic director Miss Aida who walked me through the classrooms and spent time explaining Montessori program and the tasks and academic material that children utilize to learn.

Again Miss Aida's knowledge and care for children that was radiating from her gave me such a wonderful sense of trust and security for my child at this school. I knew that this is the perfect school for my boy. I registered him for preschool right away and never looked back. I am so happy with what they have done with my son in less then a year. My son was difficult child to work with at the beginning with behavioral problems. They were able to mold him into a child who listens and who has respect for others and himself. His socialization skills has improved tremendously. His curiosity has increased so much and his love for learning keeps impressing me every day. He does not have to be prompted to do his homework any more; he does it on his own. At this school he is not only receiving Montessori education, which is an amazing teaching approach, but also martial art, acting, art, piano lesions, music and rhythm education just to mention a few. Ivy Crest Montessori School is a wonderful school for children s complete development and success.

My son has an amazing teacher Ms Henny and teacher assistant Ms Cecille and both of them foster stimulating plays, Montessori education, socialization skills, importance of friendship and good and respectful behavior. He has improved 180 degree since he has started this school in September of 2011. He absolutely love his teachers Miss Henny, his favorite teacher, the No. 1, and Miss Cecille . He also likes very much Miss Palley, Miss Maria, and Miss Bhing just to mention a few. Furthermore, my son has developed love for martial art and discipline with Sensei Joe, love for acting with Miss Maurein, love for music with Miss Marianna, love for art with Miss Evelen, and love for Golf with Coach Rodney. I have observed all their classes and their warmth, love for the kids, teaching skills, have impressed me so much that I can not expressed in words how wonderful these teachers are. Ivy Crest Montessori is absolutely amazing school. I am so happy, grateful and proud mom to have my child as a student at Ivy Crest Montessori school. Thank you very much Ivy Crest for all your dedication and hard work all year around!!!

T.M. - I love my school because class is never boring! I am seven years old and I get to work at my own pace. I love Math and I just completed division. I also get to read SRA stories and I just finished Blue 6. We also learn about the parts of plants, do fun zoology projects, reports on famous people, and learn about other countries. I take piano lessons and drawing lessons at school that way I can play league soccer and baseball after school. I love our playground and all the games we play. I also love our school performances, field trips, career day, the Easter Hunt, and all the other holiday events. I also play chess and soccer in the after school program when I can. Mr. Leo makes the best quesadillas and grilled cheese hot lunches. My favorite teachers have been Ms. Lori, Ms. Tess, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Holly, and Ms. Lillia.

My son has attended IvyCrest since the age of two and we have always been more than satisfied in all areas. IvyCrest has been able to keep all the extras because they charge tuition. The school is safe, clean, well staffed with qualified personnel, organized, and offers a lot of enrichment opportunities. I just wish they would become an IB school and extend up to the 8th grade. That way they would attract more elementary aged students interested in a rigorous academic program. My son is now seven and very happy with his new teachers Ms. Lori. & Ms. Ashley(KUDOS and Happy Teacher's Day).

We absolutely loved Ivycrest; after looking and looking for the perfect school for our 4 year old, when we found Ivycrest, we felt like we found a Hidden Treasure in the Fuyllerton area; we absolutely loved the school, Miss Maureen, Miss Lilia and Miss Poly have made our daugther feel so special and loved and care that we will miss coming to the school; our baby learned not only tons of academics, but music, sports and Ballet; this is a wonderful school and feel sad we have to leave as we are relocatiing; but KUDOS for this amazing and loving school. Loved their Xmas and Spring Shows.

We are happy and proud parents of Ivycrest. Our daughter has been there for 6 years now. During this time, we have never had any issue or problem...not a single one concerning my child, the school, the administrator, the teachers..etc. It has been and continues to be a smooth and wonderful experience. I don't get to see how my daughter is in school. But I know that everyday, she continues to run into school every morning, she hugs her teachers, she says her teachers are nice because "they teach her lots of things", she asks me to pick her up later cause she doesn't want to leave. Ivycrest is a happy place for her. As for academics, what matters is that the Montessori philosophy has enabled her to develop self-motivation; the Montessori method of instruction is teaching her how to think. This in a nurturing environment is priceless. I have placed a lot of trust into Ivycrest to educate my child and every year, the outcome is positive and visible.

With deep gratitude and admiration, I would like to commend the school owner and the administration for their continuous appreciation of the teachers' hardwork and dedication. I have been working with IvyCrest for more than 10 years and I have seen so many ways how teachers were sincerely appreciated on a daily basis. The school directors walk around the school at least 3 times a day and share with us their positive feedback making us feel so much inspired. We recently had our annual winter staff party at the Cheesecake Factory and the school owner made us feel so special and loved. What a wonderful way to be appreciated for something that I truly enjoy doing teaching the children. I am so happy and proud to be part of the IvyCrest family.

IvyCrest is a journey taken by those who are willing. It is a forest explored by those who are curious. It is a family with love so precious and delicate to a child. This school has the dedicated heart to shift and shape the minds of the next genereation. The relationship between teacher and student is as close as having another parent, someone to look up to, to depend on, and to believe in. I have been a student at IvyCrest for 12 years. I have learned the risks and ropes, the chances and choices, the mistakes and miracles in life. I remember learning Algebra in 5th grade and Newton's Laws of Motion in 6th. I started dissecting specimens in 2nd grade and every year after. The field trips demonstrate extra strings of knowledge knotted together with the opportunity to experience of using the materials provided by the school. As a student, I not only learned by listening, but by seeing, feeling, and hearing. Full academic success is accomplished by cooperation from child, parent, and teacher.

I enrolled my son at IvyCrest when he was just an infant. He absolutely loves coming to school! In fact, in the evening, he doesn't want to leave! He has learned so many songs, words, fingerplays- so much more than I could ever teach him at home. He is so well cared for by both his teachers and the support staff, who are always happy to see him and welcome us through the door. We are so blessed to have found IvyCrest and highly recommend it.
