My daughter attended Cresendo, it's a Great place to have your children attend.
I have a fourth grader who attends Crescendo and is doing academically well. I especially like the music and dance curriculum. The spring African Drumming and Dance assembly was out of sight!
My child has been attending Crescendo since she was in Kinder. I believe since the school is still up and coming there are still a few tiny hiccups that they are trying to improve on. Overall I beleive the school is doing great. The teachers and staff are qualified and they do show interest in your child's behavior and academic achievements. I believe that this being a charter school that ALL parents should be more actively involved in the mind state of their child, which would help the school progress more effectively in a more efficient manner. I also believe there should be more parents at the PTA meetings, how can you comlplain if you aren't trying to do anything to improve the situation. One thing WE must remember is that it all starts in the HOME.
We love Crescendo Charter Academy. My daughter can't wait to get to school. Crescendo provides and academically challenging and enriching curriculum. Lead by extraordinarily talented teachers. Our daughter is doing exceptional well. If you're looking for an excellent charter school we highly recommend Crescendo Charter Academy
I think there could be more parent involvement and better communication between the school and the parents. Or should I say the teachers and the parents. Only so they can be on one accord. Other than that issue, the school is building its character and making adjustments for improvement.
My child as attended Crescendo Charter Academy since it s opening in September 2006 and we also attended Crescendo Charter School in September 2005. We have been very pleased with the overall structure of the schools. This past year Crescendo Charter Academy brought great success for my child and she is prepared for her next grade level. Many improvements were made throughout the school year based on priority including a new and safe playground. Any concerns that I may have had were immediately resolved. For the first year of this school I think they did an excellent job and I would recommend parents to enroll their children. Great first school year Crescendo Charter Academy!
My child has attended Crescendo Charter Academy since the school's opening in September 2006. I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of education and attention given to my child and all of the other students at the school. We were welcomed with a friendly smile from day one and that never changed. The school was always open to any suggestions and prompt action was always taken to address concerns. My child began as a satisfactory student and now has a love of learning and school thanks to Crescendo Charter Academy. I would highly recommend this school to other parents!
My child has attended the school since it opened in September 2006 - but won't be going back - because I have been thoroughly disappointed with the low quality of the teachers and curriculum as well as poor management of the school. The classrooms are an absolute wreck; filthy with papers thrown from one end to the next. My child didn't want to move in the middle of the year so we stayed - big mistake on our part because it only got worse. Management of the school is chaotic - they don't know what they are doing from one day to the next. As parents, we are told about all activities at the very last minute, too late to adjust our schedules to participate. The school 'provides' meals but never have enough for all kids. School should be closed, taxpayers are being ripped off. Don't recommend others send their kids.
