The teachers are quite caring and the good mixture of students in ethnicity promote divserse studying enviroment. There ae many extracurricular activities.

Verdugo Woodlands is a blue ribbon school. The teachers are great. They have a very good Academic program. Parents can volunteer in the class rooms.

This is our first year in V.W.E.S., our son is in 5th.,and We can tell that he's improving a lot, his teacher is constantly encouraging him. The reading program is outstanding. Our boy really enjoys school and on Sundays he s anxious to go back again.

This is an excellent school. Teacher/staff/student moral is high. Staff is extremely dedicated. There is a high degree of parent involvement both in the classroom and the PTA. API is well above the state mandated 800. Bravo to an excellent 'California Distinguished School'!

my son went to this school, and did wonderfully. The teachers are very involved and the parents are great, we are grateful he got great beginings there, the school is simply one of the finest in califonia.

Overall this school is great. Both my children have attended this school. My daughter got extra help from teachers & day care staff to help when subjects were tough. She has since graduated. My son, who still attends, has done great in this school and has been encouraged to get out [of] the box and try new & challenging things. VW is [an] A+ school.
