Three years ago Frost was an EXCELLENT school. Thank you teachers for my daughter's education. Thank you PTSA for supporting our students. Principal & Admin sorry that you came along and destroyed the school. The dress code has become increasingly ridiculous with OUTERWEAR. Admin took my child's jacket (navy blue Abercrombie), gave her detention, lost the jacket, promised to pay for it, then said I would have to provide the original receipt to get reimbursed. Principal depicted me in an email to the PTSA as a person who do not tell the truth, who takes advantage, as being underprivileged with financial hardships, and having a sensitive economic situation....none of these things are true. The principal is rude-arrogant-condescending. Months later he did reimburse me for the lost jacket; however, he has never apologized for his slanderous email. When I approached him with a situation that happened at school (along with a solution), he suggested I take my daughter to her home school. I feel I have no input here because I am not a resident of Frost. Now he is asking the same out-of-area parents for donations. He is a joke. Keep the teachers and get rid of the Admin.

Frost has changed so much in the past three years.. I won't say for the better. They have replaced so many teachers, all the good qualities of Frost are gone. To top it off, we don't even have a nurse here anymore! The dress code has become SO much more strict., the staff is rude, they have cut so many programs..now the school is asking for each family to pay $400 dollars to help support the school..It's funny how they have mac computers in the main office.

What has happened to Frost???? I had my older child go through Frost and was 100% satisfied the teachers were awsome the administration was on top of things you never heard of fights or bulling ! Since the new principal has taken over the school has gone so far down hill I'm pulling my kids out. I attempted to bring my concerns to the principal and he was rude, arrogant, condesending, and direspectful. I was bring up the issue of bulling and fights on campus that seems part of everday life now at Frost and I had my son with me who had just been bullied and had bruises from the incident and the principal didn't even acknwledge he was even in the room let alone ask if he was o.k.!!! With this kind of leadership or rather lack there of what example is being set for the kids! Frost was a five star school three years ago now I'm concerned for my childs safety and thats a real shame!!!!

The Highlight of this Community is the YSPlus Program at Frost...Ive never seen so many students willing to stay after school and receive help in their HW, learn a sport, or learn to Dance. this program has really helped my 6th Grader come out of her shell. The staff is amazing and you can tell they really care about the students here. I recommend this Program to all parents.

Just stumbled on this. This is a great school compared to the one i went to as a kid. the teachers are attentive and i agree with the previous parent the after school program is amazing. i cant pick up my son right away but i feel safe knowing he is either doing his homework or participating in one of the free sports program ( free how awesome is that!).

i have attended this school for 3 years in the SAS. I completely recommend it to anyone looking for a great education ,however two SAS history teachers have left. The classes are rigorous and fun. Especially the science and math classes.

Beautiful campus; great instrumental music teacher. Everything else about the school is abysmally bad, especially considering great neighborhood. The website that is supposed to inform parents about grades hasn't been updated for 3 months for 1 of my child's classes. Assignments are unclear, and often seem to have no academic value. Grading criteria are bizarre and mysterious, often giving far more weight to arts'n'craft s and busywork homework than to actual tests or papers. The people here seem determined to chase away bright students, and they are succeeding. After 2 years, I am giving up on trying to deal with them and now I'm trying to get my child moved to another school. I understand the appeal of homeschooling now--I don't think we could do worse than this if we just bought him a couple workbooks and texts and a few hours a day to read them.

This is our first year at Frost and I am pleasantly surprised by the campus, staff and administration. My daughter is in the Magnet program and her teachers are wonderful. They update the grades regularly online, and always answer my emails. The Principal this year, is making great efforts to improve many aspects of the school. I love the campus too as it is very clean and well taken care of. The API score is 835 or above, which is a great score too.

The highlight of Frost Middle School is the Instrumental Music program. It would be wonderful if there were other electives that were equally as challenging and engaging for students. In other areas the quality of the teachers is hit or miss. Some are exceptional and some are less effective. Our new principal is shaking things up a bit and hopefully more and more teachers will be held accountable for student's performance. Overall this school has improved greatly in the last 3 to 4 years through the hard work of the administration and the PTSA.
