My son has been going to Greenhills for 2 years now - this school is absolutely wonderful. The principal is fantastic - very engaged with the children and their parents. The staff work well together and are very nurturing and caring. GH feels more like a private than a public school. A+ AAA+++pleased

This is a wonderful school for all children. I hope it improves and grows. We love the teachers. They are so different from Oakhills and Eureka (in a good way.)

New Enrichment programs promote a fun educational experience after school. Sponsored by PTC (parents) funding all Greenhills children are eligible for classes like Spanish, Acids and Bases, Cooking your way through literature, Green Thumbs, Science, Sign Language, Musical Theatre and Art.....All classes are instructed by Greenhills teachers. Outstanding PTC organization. Principal is accessible and promotes parent involvement.

A nice school. Programs for 'high achievers' are lacking as high math is not introduced until 3rd grade. High LA is not a pull out, rather the teachers are supposed to do this in the class. This is challenging with the variety of levels within each class.

We found the school had a strong academic program. Our daughter was place in excelerated classes and given material throughout her 3 years to challenge her. They have an activity parent docent program for music, science and arts. Parental help in classrooms is very prominent.

Academic programs are high quality, parent club brings music and art and many extra activities. Extremely high level of parent involvement. Principal truly cares, teachers are welcoming. Unfortunately no sports other than the new PE program that the parent club helped fund. Which is why there is such a high emphasis on $ from parents to the school.

Parent involvement is supreme at Greenhills. Class size provides a perfect environment for learning. Art, Music and Science Docent programs with parent participation help make up where state funding lacks. Gives any good 'private' school a run for it's money.

Nice school - however, standards are lower than eastern US schools. 2nd graders do not learn cursive until 3rd grade. Not much advanced work.
