Lyman Gilmore Middle School

this school thinks you should know every thing i hear bad things about this school and i dont think its the best

I attended Lyman Gilmore for 6th grade. The teachers are o.k. Except for one teacher... He's the best! ( Won't Name.. ) The aids are worried about the littlest things. Like if someone is in a fight and then they see someone eating or drinking on the blacktop, they will go to the person who is eating instead of the person thats in the fight. Some of the teachers/aids are to strict! Take a chill pill!

My experience has been wonderful. I have had three children attend Lyman Gilmore, all with different educational needs. No matter their abilities, they were able to get a solid highly supported education. Plus, Lyman Gilmore offers more extra curricular activities than many high schoools! Given each of my childrens varied interests, I was impressed to see such a broad selection available. Gilmore truly understands balanced education. I have two more children that will be attending in the near future. I am grateful for my experience so far and look forward to my last two enjoying their time in junior high at Lyman Gilmore!

lyman gilmore is a fantasaic school exept the times you cant be with your freinds. not every one even has freind most of the student body but most of the kids are rude .i dont want to menchine names because they will get in troble iwould like to know if we can work in class goups more often i dont know about any one else but it would help me under stand . less home work would be nice so could you try to exept my advise

I know an 'Excellent' for a school would seem improbable, but I miss this school a lot. I honestly want to be a teacher there when I grow up. I graduated from it only a year ago and those three years felt like a dream to me. Thye have a interactive principal which is a tad rare. I was amazed at the spirit's of my fellow class of 2008 when they left. They were all depressed because they had to go.

Our student enjoyed the many activities available at Lyman Gilmore, including sports and band. She was well-prepared to do very well academically in the most challenging courses (AP) at the high school.

I have gone to lyman gilmore for three years now, and i would just like to say that, of all the schools i have gone to, and all the people I have met, Lyman gilmore is at the top of my list.

We love Gilmore's excellent teachers and diverse student body. Gilmore students are the best prepared for Nevada Union High School and life beyond Nevada County.
