Like many public schools, your child's education is very dependent on which teacher s/he gets each year, and that is hit or miss in many cases. There are both excellent teachers and very average teachers at most of the grade levels(especially higher up), and who you get is hit or miss.

This school is truly a wonderful place. The teachers are amazing. The principle has a clear vision and a gift of common sense. The have a wonderful art and music program; my son came home from kindergarten "singing" In The Hall Of The Mountain King!!! In all honesty, I could not expect all of these services from a private school, yet we get them from our local public school. This place is an example of how public education can succeed.

This is my childs 2nd year here and ASES prooves it worth once more. Our children are extremely priveledged. A lot of parents who live in foothill communities try to compare their school to this school. No other school in the foothills compares to this one. The parent involvement is tremendous and the children are extremely bright. My only suggestion is the lack of an organized music program.

My son started Kindergarden this year at ASES. This school is fabulous. I have been to alot of schools in my life and dealt with different schools but this one really does reign superior! The teachers are amazing, the campus is imaculate and the ciriculum is way up to par.

Alta Sierra school rates the very highest in all levels of academic programs, including learning other languages, sign language, music, art, sports. The level of parent involvement is phenomenal and the principal Mrs. Rath is of the highest reverence. This is truly an amazing school that is a blue ribbon elementary school. I am so proud to have the opportunity to allow my daughter to be educated at this very fine school.

This is one great school. The staff is extremely personable with both the parents and children as well. The principal is physically outside on site every morning to greet the children/parents/busses, etc. I love this school and only wish all elementary school children were as fortunate as these children are to have such a dedicated and caring staff.
