What is not to love about this hidden little 2 room school? The setting is in big trees. The friendliness of the staff and other parents is next to unheard of in suburbia. In this rural community, Grizzly Flats, the parents step up to the plate. The teachers are outstanding. The academics are awesome. The school ranked 4th among schools in a 4 county wide area with an API of 938/1000. Grizzly Pines Elementary is an exceptional school. The children really care about each other. I have never seen or been to a better school. From the parental involvement to the teacher's abilities to engage the children in an enthusiastic manner, I for one haven't seen this matched anywhere. This small school of less than 40 children in grades K-5 is a spectacular school. Academic standards are exceeded. We love this school and it's staff! Keep up the great work!
